When I used to frequent the bookies I asked the manager how it works and he said the same, all fobts are linked to a huge data base where any of the millions of spins happening at that moment are picked at random to win.

 

Off the back of that I decided to try placing 1 pound on one number on roulette and I swear it came in roughly the same amount of times as a winning spin would with 25% of the board covered which cemented my theory that if your your set to win it doesn’t matter what the odds on your individual game claim to be but rather the odds from the whole network.

 

Might have worded that badly lol but I think it makes sense

I find them to be a little escape from reality which can be a good thing until you escape too much and get nothing done bar empty your bank account lol

 

I do love settling down with a beer and smoke for slot session though, these days I just withdraw my money in cash except what I’m prepared to lose, other wise in can get out of hand lol especially if moon princess is being a teasy bitch ???

I had a text message from “barclays” a while ago telling me my account was being closed and I needed to send my details to get the remaining funds transfered.. I too have never banked with barclays lol I reported it as well b<span style=”font-size: 1rem;”>ut the bird on the phone didn’t seem too interested ?‍♂️</span>

I know exactly what you mean man it’s almost like a trance I get it when I walk past the bookies and sometimes it can be brutal, it’s good you feel pissed off with yourself I’m sure in times gone by the £20 wouldn’t have even phased you

I watched a gambling documentary once and they where due to have a reformed gambler on for an interview but at the last minute he canceled because the night before he “for reasons unbeknown to himself, went to the local book maker and spent £900 for the first time in 9 years”

 

For some reason that’s always stuck with me, I think it’s because he was anxious about the interview, sometimes when somethings on my mind I find I desire a gamble more..

I’m still seething about it tbh its more the principal of it than the money although £18 was a few more pints which is annoying lol what a dick who does that?!

 

I did spin around and tell him what I thought of him but a couple of dudes came over and got between us which was probably for the best, he was a big bloke and I’m certainly no fighter ? getting beaten up would have really salted the wound ??

Depends how my deposits and what not look but generally if I get up to £60+ I’ll cash out half.. If I won something huge like 2k by my standard I think I’d treat myself and my folks to a holiday or something, I certainly would want it to mean something 🙂
