6th February 2019 at 5:55 am in reply to: Fobts what do you think about the new spins will it kill the bookies #46712
I think you’ll probably end up seeing less and less of them on the high streets but it won’t kill them, the people who went in to play roulette are either going to start gambling online or switch to playing slots on them and £2 a spin on a slot isn’t small stakes by any means so you’ll still see stories of people doing their nut in on them probably just not to the same level they was doing on roulette. I think this will eventually move on from the bookies to limitations being set online as like I said a lot of people will switch to playing online and more and more stories will emerge of people doing their bollocks in. In fact it’s already begun with a lot of sites asking for proof of income and I can only imagine more restrictions will be added as time goes on.
Maybe you lot should get together and get a daisy chain on the go.
I may be mistaken but isn’t this a gambling wedsite !
The site needs more mods ? So I am taking it when someone post something that you don’t like you want it take down.
awww didums , why don’t you stop virtue signalling and man up you pansies.
When someone is trying to offer an addict who is trying to quit a way to feed his addiction, then yeah, that should be taken down. He came here for a talking down, too vent and perhaps a bit of support and you think it’s a good idea to post that load of wank. You’re a gobshite.
11I don’t have a problem with Nick and I’ll watch him if I’ve got nothing else to do before heading off to work but I will say that the guy seems to have an awfully high opinion of himself and I’ve seen him be an absolute dick to people just for asking a question that he deems stupid or having a difference in opinion, no need for it in most cases to berate someone like that in front of your entire audience – it’s fine if someones having a go at him, no qualms with that. He’s not exactly the most entertaining streamer either which is why I only watch him if no one else is streaming, just my opinion though.
Haha well I’m sure I remember you having back to back sets in the starting hands, luckily I got away. 😛 If I do play on Sunday I’ll be going after Malky, you’ve been warned! Last game there was 2-3 pots where I raised and got an instant reraise back by him, figured he was just big stack bullying me. So of course when I got dealt 44 on the button with a small stack I thought “I’ve had enough of your bullshit, Malky, I’m all in ‘ave some of that son!” to which he instantly calls and flips over KK….fuck my life haha
1Although Haz did hit set after set in the first home game…remember thinking every time he reraised “boy, this guys bluff game is strong!” Nope he just had it every time! 😛 Lucky git, while I’m sat there getting dealt 7/2o 9/4o haha.
1And yes i agree they have the best software and mtt structures. Such a shame that they abuse the power that they have. #Cunts
haha dont recall the post i do however remember seeing something about hunting down daniel negreanu
Shouldn’t be too hard all you need is a twig, a box, a piece of string and a plate of tofu 😛
Absolutely, Andy. I can take a beat when the person I’m against plays well or has no choice but to call such as the QQ v KK hand or when there is a big bounty at stake your pretty much calling with any two…I’ll still tilt but mainly due to the lost opportunity if it’s a deep run. One of the thing that really boils my piss though is when you get someone calling with no logic behind the call, completely missed the board, not having a strong enough hand to justify the call or to even continue calling down and in most cases beaten on all fronts but they call regardless and then somehow get there. I know it’s in my benefit to get such a call in the long run you’ll be printing money but it still doesn’t make it any less tilting at the time of the beat. I just find myself sitting there in disbelief sometimes thinking how can this person even consider calling that. Suppose I’m just rambling now tho :).
Why don’t you play online poker if you don’t mind me asking?
Also yeah, it was on Pokerstars.
I was just about to say that the max wagering is £5, did you get lucky or is it different on Casumo? 😛
I wouldn’t exactly say that, there was 800 entries and only 4 winners. Not exactly the best odds to win it! 😛
Personally I think it’s a myth or I’m just that unlucky haha. When I signed up to Stars I won absolutely nothing for the first few weeks, same with 888 poker….I had a few wins on Party Poker but nothing spectacular (min cashing tournaments) although a few weeks later I was reckless on Roulette and won my biggest ever score on it. I signed up to Casumo and won £200 after losing around that same amount and signed up to Videoslots and made 3 deposits adding up to £150 and barely got above the starting amount before losing it all. Thinking about it I’ve only ever had 2 decent scores that will stand out 1.8k on roulette on Party Poker and turning $100 on Stars into $3000 before getting tilted bubbling the Sunday Storm and tilting it all away on roulette. Other than that I got lucky the first time playing a Fobt turning £20 into £150 and walking away although there was no way for the machine to know I was a new player so I’ll say that it’s just a myth from my own experiences. 🙂
Sounds interesting, do you have a link to the story? 😀
It kind of reminds me a bit of that story about a bloke from England that sold all his assets and went to Vegas to place it all on 1 spin of the wheel, it’s a pretty popular video so I’m sure most have seen it. But I will say the bollocks on this guy must be the size of grapefruits!
Ah right! I’m going to blame my insomnia for not clocking on to that!. ? Still a mighty impressive win!
I don’t know what else Bandit can do really. He is constantly saying in his videos about the dangers of gambling, warning people about particular slots that tend to drag you in like Viking’s and Extra Chilli and on top of that he paid for people to use Gamban not to mention a few times where he has bailed people out of horrible predictaments they got themselves in. A few months back some guy went crazy on Wild Swarm and Bandit was generous enough to give him most of the money back after he had a big win on it. For me Bandit and Rolla go above and beyond to promote responsible gambling. The truth is however as harsh as this may sound is that this advice often falls upon deaf ears until people do their bollocks in. I’ve often played beyond my means and lost the lot and I knew exactly the dangers of gambling but in my head at that time it was “Yeah, but I might get lucky this time” in most cases you never do but it’s that optimism that causes you to do something silly.
1It just seems to be a game aimed at people who are going to get sucked in. What I want to know is it actually worth the gamble, take into account the time it takes to land the bonus, the amount of play and money you would need to put into it to finally hit 40+ spins. I just don’t get the appeal other than them aiming it at people who are going to throw money at it when they tilt. Does it pay much more than the average volatile slot when the gamble goes well? So far the only game that seems worth the gamble is extra chilli as you see quite a lot of people hitting 1000x when they get to 20-24 spins. Not seen that many big wins on Millionaire or Vikings as people tend to get binned before they have a chance to play with a decent amount of spins/multi.
I’ll be there as per normal?
Happy days! See you Sunday Hacko “the Chameleon” 1 😀
