Don’t know whats worse with that game: Getting 80%+ being wrong or being given 50:50 on the first question. Officially hate this game and yet I still want to play it, clearly a masochist aren’t I!

How you pay to enter mate ?

You’ll need to deposit the equivalent of $11 into your stars account and then go to home games, double click on The Bandit Community and once inside go to schedule then you should see at the bottom “Backinamo/TGC launch game” double click on it and it should bring up the tournament lobby where you can sign up!

Need any more help then just let me know!

and happy days Bandit, can’t wait! 😀

It’s back on now, thought it might have been off all day, internet is still a bit slow. It was like an episode of the Twilight Zone though, neighbours out in the street socialising for once, kids outside playing and riding their bikes…as soon as the power came back on they all retreated back into their caves. Makes you realise how dependant we are on our gadgets nowadays!

I’ve accepted everyone that has signed up so far today :).

Well, I’m slightly fuming. My electric has just gone off and looks like the neighbours have had a power cut too. This happened a few years ago and took an age to resolve. I’m fuckin fuming, hopefully it will be back on soon but I’m not going to be best pleased if I miss this after all the build up. Thought I’d let you know just in case you see me getting blinded out later. I’ve had to plug my phone into my laptop since it’s on 1% battery but the laptop hasn’t got long left either. Just my luck, was looking into seeing how I could record this too.

I disagree, I would say I’m a problem gambler myself with a severe addictive personality and I would be doing myself a massive favour if I signed up to Gamstop but I can’t bring myself to do it. However if there was no reward to the gamble then I wouldn’t bother gambling at all, seeing a big win pop up on my screen and knowing that I won’t actually see any of that money would be enough to deter me, it would be just like playing for free which I only ever do to test out games and not for entertainment because it just isn’t as fun with nothing on the line.

But I suppose we all are different, I doubt any of these players who try this will continue for long once they find out that casinos will not pay them out.

Not very wise to do this though, if a casino asks a player to verify when they make a cash out and see even the slightest sign of an error then you can bet your bottom dollar that they won’t pay out so these addicts are just tossing their hard earned cash away with no chance of winning.

Hey mate, I’ve got a little experience dealing with debt so what I would suggest if you haven’t already is get in touch with a debt charity called Stephange ask them to set up a DMP for you and then they will go through your cost of living everything from how much you spend on rent/bills/travel/smoking/hobbies etc and will create a budget for you, they will then get in touch with your debitors and send them a copy of the budget and offer them what you can afford per month on your behalf as well as asking them to freeze interest to help pay it off faster (they have the right to decline ofc). With this if you set the budget up right you might end up with more money to play around with each month and not have to pay 80% of your wages. All you then have to do is set a monthly direct debt and stepchange will handle the rest & the creditors, they are very helpful and supportive. Also if you are ever struggling one month they will allow you to make a reduced or missed payment and relay it on to your debitors so you don’t have the stress of dealing with it.

    Best of luck mate.

I’m really wanting to play mate but i have had no reply to my email asking them what i need to do to unlock my account – i had already signed up as the mrs too and they just locked that one as well lol

Aww that’s a shame mate, did you try to set up a new account with your new address and card or did you email them to unban your old account? If you emailed you could try set up a new account and see how that goes as I imagine it’s going to be too late to get a response now in time for Sunday. If not then we can use another platform next time we play, bloody stars! :p

Most of the multi way games are good for wagering but definitely a mistake going for a nova as they are well known for being balance killers. Ah well least you had a bit of fun for nothing :).

I’m keeping an eye on things on that post daily so no need, the thread has been pinned over there and it’s getting quite a lot of replies already. Rolla posted today to hand out the buy in’s for 10 players so we should see a few more sign ups tonight and tomorrow. 24 club members and 9 sign up’s now, I’d be happy with 18 players at least we will have 3 tables running but more than that would be even better obviously. Rolla is still waiting on stars but will play if it’s sorted in time, Bandit has yet to sign up, not sure if he’s still up for it or has sorted out his issues with Stars…so there’s a few more that have yet to sign up, looks promising though.

For those who still aren’t sure how to sign up though, quick guide with pics included.

    1) Load up stars, click more and then home games

    2) Click join club

    3) Enter the details as shown in the third picture

    4) Once I’ve accepted you into the club you’ll be able to see the game listed in your schedule

Was thinking this myself tbf, just be careful matey. You did say you’ve been x6 deeper before when you was 6k in iirc but then at that point you won’t even be in profit if you do hit a top and would mean you would have to have a lucky run of tops to even get yourself back to even. I know it’s been a good run for a couple of months but this can happen in gambling, you see many a pro poker player have a brilliant few months winning a string of major tournaments and then nothing for a good few years. Not saying this is going to happen or trying to jynx you but it only takes a few bad sessions and some rotten luck before you end up giving it all back.
