After my lab Lucy rang back to me with her indestructible kong frisbee she was limping and really bad. I’m not kidding when I say I was bricking it. She was about a year old. Took her straight to the vets who diagnosed her with hip dysplasia. X-ray treatment all the rest of it was going to cost a bomb. I didn’t believe them I took her for second opinion was told it was a sprain. Gave some anti inflammatory to put in her food. No running jumping light walks on flat surface for a week. Well needless to say thank fuck she fully recovered after a week and has been fine ever since. That was 18 months ago and without fail I’m out everyday with her. She’s loves that frisbee I tell ya.

@Haz I had a conversation with the Mrs last week. She said look at all the money you have saved – over 3k. I asked her to point out one fucking thing that I have that I didnt have last year. After about 5 minutes of thinking we could find anything we had spent the money on, but its not in savings so it must have gone on something lol

I know exactly what you mean mate and we both stopped same time so really it should be double the amount ?

I have a quick question vape related if the vapours out there may be able to help me with. I understand that it is supposed to be healthier or whatever than actually smoking but are you not just swapping 1 for the other? I thought they were meant to help stop smoking however i know a fair few people who have been on them since well when they came out. Like you said you have been on them for years do you intend to stop or is it merely a replacement?

I smoked from the age of 14 till i was about 39…by that point i was coughing up crap on a daily bases, ive now been vaping for for close to 4 years and have not coughed up any gunk since vaping,so although yes i am still addicted to nicotine i know by the way my body now acts its atleast dping nothing like the dmg smoking was.

Almost same as me mate. I think between the ages of 14 to 38 and I’m 4 years stopped in June. I just wonder where the money went I’m supposed to save. Yeah right it just goes on something else. What I mean by that I think the missus spending seemed to conveniently increase round the time I stopped. Coincidence I wonder lol.

20 a day £8 a pack save a bloody fortune she must be loving it

Always wondered why we got a new wardrobe after a few months and shoes ffs sake I mean who needs like 20 pairs why, what for. I don’t understand them lol.

Do the staff in the bookies not have an obligation or duty of care to the customer if they feel the amount they are spending is getting out of hand. I believe they do. Have I ever seen them stop someone who is in the process of doing their bollox in nope not once ever I seen them step in. There meant to. It’s part of their job apparently.

I just wanted one that tasted like a cig so mines tobacco flavour. Didn’t fancy all these fruity flavoured ones as I thought well I never smoked a strawberry or blueberry before so wanted something closest to a cig as possible. Not even had one drag since vaping.

Another nice win well done mate ? but seriously I think you worry way too much what other people think. Your winning is doing what exactly. It’s improving life for you and more importantly for your family so who cares if there are a very small minority of people who don’t agree with what your doing I say carry on winning and as you put it smashing it.

How weird is this? I’m right handed but can only swing with a left handers grip. No control or power with the right way i should grip.

I’m pretty similar pal. All my mates are right handed and I’m a leftie and couldn’t afford my own set growing up so used there clubs. Haven’t changed back since. Play off 12 now with right handed clubs.

I’m a leftie also but everything is left. Left winger at football. Snooker and pool left handed.

Surprised you didn’t run a book at school. I did one for 4 years on anything and everything. F a cup league cup weekend games grand national. Gutted in 93 I think it was had to give everyone money back after the false start. Esha Ness won grand national and to tell my mate he couldn’t have the winnings ?
