Casumo are a joke.

I had exactly the same issue.  I won approx £8k and tried to withdraw (no previous issues withdrawing couple of hundred here and there previous).

I stayed with my parents Saturday and Sunday as I work away during the week.  They asked for proof of their mortgage, proof they had paid it off etc.  My SOW is easily provided, I was never going to give my parents personal data.

It took me 3 months to sort this and it’s only because I went to askgamblers and they got involved.

Casumo are the only ones I’ve had an issue with, videoslots, allbritish etc are all pretty good when it comes to verification and SOW.

Askgamblers have great forums and support and you will see numerous Casumo related issues.

It’s not unusual if you read lots of other forums.

I have opened a PAB with casinomeister so need to see that through first.

I’ve closed and excluded my account now with casumo so will see if they give me my £1000.09!

I’ve opened a PAB with casinomeister.

Casumo have never screwed me over before, I’ve played there for years.  It’s the only site I ever seemed to win on as well, that’s just luck I know.

I had a nice cash out on betfair last month though so might just play there now.

I self excluded now on casumo with a balance of £1000.09 , so will see what happens to that balance once the PAB is done.

I actually dont think I’ll get those winnings, and luckily for me it was winnings and not recovering a loss.  If the PAB fails then I’ll go ADR and if that fails then I have no idea what to do.  I may ask them to reinstate my account.  Wait until they leave the UK (which they will soon enough) and then theyll have to give me money back (I hope).

Haha very true.

I am not forging or misleading anyone though.  I haven’t throughout this whole process with Casumo.  I have now self excluded myself from Casumo as in their terms and conditions it states that once self excluded then any balances / bets will be returned.  They only state they will withhold withdrawals or if they suspect AML.

They have all my stuff and it clearly shows no AML. Only income I have is my salary and my winnings from Casumo and Betfair.

The fact I deposited over 2k in Feb more due to the fact I wont 4k from betfair off 200 quid.  They havent questioned my holiday I booked with the winnings or the golf clubs I bought.

Update

So I have been on casinomeister and the response has been amazing.

Casu.o are still adamant that unless they see proof that I have no rent or mortgage to pay (I live at parents two nights a week as a base and live in a hotel 5 via work) and provide them with proof my parents have paid their mortage off and utility Bill’s are in their name then I will not get my money.

Absolute jokers.

Knowing my old man, not only would I get a polite f off but also a smack in the face.  Being close to 40 that still scares me ?

Hi,

I asked them that and they pointed me towards the t’s&c’s which I’ve signed.

They are saying that unless I provide the detail requested I will not get my money

I completely understand they have to abide by rules etc but they just told me in chat that they need to be satisfied of my affordability of deposits.

I did question then why are they holding a withdrawal but still allowing me to deposit.

I am sure its not, by surely I’m going to question the credibility of Casumo, when they ask for source of wealth because they think I’m playing beyond my means but instead of blocking deposits they block withdrawals….

Anyway I’m still £1k down whilst waiting for my withdrawal but looks like I’ll never get that money because the lady in chat has said unless I prove my parents have no mortage and provide utility Bill’s in their name then I wont get it.

Hi guys,

This is now  become stupid.

Recieved an email below today from Casumo.  So to cut a long story short, I live at home with my parents, that is because I work away most of the time (paid for by work) and I use my parents house as a base, once or twice a week.

Can a tone point me in the direct of some help because I am not going to convince my parents to supply mortgage information etc.  This is beyond a joke.

Here’s the email

“Thank you for providing the recent documentation and information on your previous email.

In order for us to base our affordability calculation more accurately with the information you have provided regarding living with your parents and paying no bills we would need to see supporting documents of this.

This would need to be something such as proof that the utility bills for the address are not in your name. Perhaps a rental agreement for the address that shows you are not liable for any rent payments. If the house is owned by your parents then a mortgage agreement showing that you are not listed as a home owner would also be acceptable. If the mortgage is paid and has no outstanding balance then we would also need to see proof of this.

If we can get these documents from you and they do show that you are not liable for any bills including rent/mortgage payments then this could drastically change your affordability. “

Strangely enough after chasing again yesterday Casumo have told me to reply to an email sent 14th Feb.

I didn’t read it to be honest, and it it asking me to verify my mortgage payments etc.  I dont have any mortgage or rent!

It also says that no deposits will be able to be made until source of wealth has gone though.

Well over a week on and I have deposited at least 4 times since then, yet more bollocks from Casumo.

Once resolved and I have my 1k they owe me, I will be closing my account.

Coming up to 2 weeks and still not verified.  Not been told of any issues with my account.

Surprisingly they put a 2k deposit limit on my account yesterday for no reason…

No idea when this will be sorted and when my £1k withdrawal will be approved.

I am pissed off with eh whole process Casumo use.

I’ve started a thread down the hall on my source of wealth now up to 7 days.

Letter from employer and a wage slip from Jan 31st.

All this drug money laundering is bad if it’s happening, weird that they dont ask for source of wealth if your not winning!

Last withdrawal was £3k and that was processed fine.   Another £1k locked two weeks ago and then a week after it’s back into my casumo account and I need to verify.

I have no problem verifying anything but twice in 2 months?  And then to be fed shit from Casumo that’s it’s a really lengthy process.  Bollocks it took under an hour last time.
