I have no sympathy to those who make sockpuppet accounts. You reap what you sow.
A suggestion for future free draws – could you implement it in a similar fashion to a casino draw? This is where an entrant is registered with both BIAM and one of the casinos e.g. Bet Victor? Because the casinos require you to show forms of ID, this should help weed out sockpuppets and then each BIAM entrant should be unique. Then the free draw goes ahead and doesn’t require the player to gamble in that month, just be registered with a casino for verification.
Great video as always Bandit, and props to whoever it was in the YouTube control room that flicked the switch to re-enable your videos and defy Generation Offended 🙂
I never participate in any bonuses. That’s usually where the casino matches your deposit 100% then you have to wager 35X. I’ve seen it all too often where you’ve not had any slot features during your real money. Then soon after you hit bonus money, the features roll in but your balance is now locked and it’s unlikely that you’ll make it through the wagering.
Are you 100% sure that you aren’t able to get any credit to help tide you over the next month? You can check where you stand with credit using the Martin Lewis link below:

Not gambling-related, but I recently bought a gaming laptop for £1050. This is actually the same amount as your salary Delboy. I just realised this, so it’s relate-able to your dilemma. I stuck the full amount on credit, interest-free for the first 4 months. I paid £250 off straight away, then £200 per month thereafter. Now I’m down to £400 owing so it should be paid off by the New Year just before interest kicks in.
I’m another one on here who found the Bandit via Stop & Step. Time-wise, I think I found S&S in mid-2016 then the Bandit mid-2017 when Flame Busters, Scruffy Duck and Secret of the Stones was all the rage 🙂
Can anyone tell me – was there a slots scene on YouTube before S&S/Bandit or did it all kick off in 2016? I don’t recall seeing any slots channels before then.
@argyl53 – I use black background with white text. Not just web browser but OS-wide. The normal way round causes eye strain for me.
Also, why do I keep getting an error on here: “ERROR: Are you sure you wanted to do that?”
It won’t be the gambling element as it has affected White Rabbit and Book of Gods as well. Plus a few of the Blueprints that didn’t require gambling such as Genie Megaways. It’s the overall bonus buy / feature drop that the UKGC took exception to.
It won’t stop people from placing £100 bets on roulette though. Then you also have hi roller spins on Barcrest slots, and that jewel-themed slot that the Bandit played yesterday. He was playing a base bet of £2.50 but as £25 hi roller spins (which removes the bottom 3 symbols) and he later upped it to £50 a spin.
inconsistency as normal for government-affiliated agencies. As long as they get their afternoon tea and cakes, out of their cushy office every day by 4PM and 45 days annual leave, that’s all that matters to them.
Judging by the Bandit’s latest video, the UKGC will be cracking down on those Jewel Strike ‘epic spins’ next. It’s where you bet £25 or £50 instead of your normal stake. It removes 10, J and Q, leaving the top 6 symbols. It is £25/£50 PER spin!
The only bonus buy that I’ll miss will be White Rabbit. That’s because losing features still usually returned at least 50% of the buy-out amount. Returns of around 15% were rare on White Rabbit, but were common territory on slots such as Fat Santa, Book of Ra, Fishin’ Frenzy and Temple of Treasure.
What I have got to ask though – where do we stand with the 99% RTP ‘hi roller’ spins? I think this applies to Barcrest only. Possibly only on Sky Vegas but might be on other sites too. You buy ‘packs’ of base game spins (usually 5 or 7) for either £20, £30 or £50 with a base bet of £1. So they cost a similar amount to bonus buys but they don’t guarantee a bonus. It’s just 5 or 7 base game spins with different rules from the normal single play base game and they may help you fast-track to the bonus but most of the time you won’t get a bonus.
Some Barcrest slot examples that have ‘hi roller’ are:
Rainbow Riches (Pic n Mix version)
Monopoly (Big Event version)
Legend of the Pharaohs
Ooh Aah Dracula
Big Foot (possibly?)
Jewel in the Crown
Lucky 5 Reeler
The Big Cheese
I’m surprised we haven’t had a DHV megaways yet it seems they’re working on making a version of every game lol
Nah I think DHV is its own formula with the 6×4 reels and the 4×4 in the middle 4 reels. Then BTG expanded it with DHV2 (Final Countdown) and DHV3 (L’il Devil).
Thanks for the single slot series Bandit!
As for DHV version, I put Final Countdown as DHV2 and L’il Devil as DHV3.
For music copyright, we know it’s always been ok to post slots videos featuring Danger High Voltage (by Electric Six) and Holy Diver (by Dio). The same applies to L’il Devil (by The Cult).
What’s the business with the Final Countdown (by Europe) though? Most slots videos with the Final Countdown get removed from YouTube because of copyright. However, I recently saw the Final Countdown on a Casino Grounds “big wins” compilation video un-muted and that video stayed up no probs. So has the record label finally allowed it to be used on slots videos?
An 888x jackpot can still be hard work. We all know that the Goonies and other similar Blueprint slots with multiple features and multiple side-features can all go on the take. Their jackpots are only a bit higher at 1000x.
I think Reel King with the gamble turned off would be safer. If playing on £1, then the jackpot would be £500 like the arcade version.
Safer still would be Time is Money, where the Bandit recently jackpotted it for 250x. I think he used £3 stake and so he got £750.
If you don’t understand him, then move on and watch someone else.. He does slot reviews of new slots, and a lot of other things.
That’s what I watch Dazza for too, his slot reviews. He does moan while waiting for a feature, but other than that he’s good for showing what is up and coming.
Which Dazza video is this thread about anyway? Last time I checked (yesterday), he posted a review of BTG’s new game called L’il Devil.
I’m wondering if they’re wanting to know where your money is coming from considering you’ve had a week or 3 off reel king :p hahah no, seriously I think its will be just one of those, where your account is chosen randomly to provide another bit of evidence. I remember a casino telling me that they do random checks every now and again.
The good old “random” debate rears its ugly head once again!
Are the random choosing of accounts as random as slots are? Is it true random? An RNG? Is it pseudo random? Is it a lookup table of pre-determined numbers like in BBC BASIC?
😀
@Winningbird – Dazza G does slots reviews every week on a Monday. I don’t like his attitude – pessimistic, impatient and moans while waiting for a feature to drop. To be taken with a pinch of salt. I still watch him sometimes though, to see what upcoming slots are coming from the various studios.
As for demo play, I don’t think that Dazza ever tried to keep that a secret imo. Every slot he reviews will start with a 1000 unit balance, the next slot starting back at 1000 again and so on. A few of the slots also have test mode where he can force a feature and numerous other set-ups.
