A few people have put £500-£1000, £1000-£5000 and £5000+. What are these guys? CEOs? Hedge fund managers? Property investors?
For me, I have a £50 limit on Video Slots and Royal Panda, so £100 spend per month max for online gambling.
My salary is £15000 (take home about £1100 per month).
Could he have meant maxing out all of the levels? I think you need 2500 exp then 8000 exp for the first 2 levels which are usually fairly easy. Then you need 20000 exp and after that it goes up to 80000 exp. I’ve never seen anyone reach 80000, so that is what your friend might be referring to – hitting that amount.
What Argyl said. I spin at 40p-60p as well using a £50 deposit. I can normally expect a couple of features from that amount, but I have also known not to get a feature.
Given my track record with Donus (the slot), I would say that it is a good way to give up smoking.
If you were to eat a donut every time you bonused Donuts, then you would only weigh about 8 stone in a couple of months time lol
I can’t remember what colour the chests were, but in the Video Slots’ Tuesday bonus just gone (15 free spins at 20p stake), it gave me x2 x2 x2 which went for £48 (240x). Promptly cashed that out. In real money though, I tend to deposit £50 and play 40p stake so will give that a buzz next time.
1Gambling related – Eye of Horus. I’ve only ever bonused it once and it went for 10x.
Not gambling related – the richest 1% who now own half of the world’s wealth a.k.a. stout white middle aged pro-fox hunting, pro-Tory/Trump, xenophobic, capitalist, pro-religious/Christianity men who voted Leave a.k.a. “gammon”.
115th February 2019 at 10:31 pm in reply to: Backinamo’s Favourite Slot Award – Feb 2019 – Nominations #49166What amount were you expecting roughly Wiggy?
My booster was 52p which oddly enough makes it exactly half of your amount.
You got your next session planned for 24th Feb. Maybe self-exclude on VS for 1 week (if that option is available), then when the 24th arrives, put the £600 towards your start balance. Add another £400 or £600 to make it £1000/£1200 start balance for the video.
Since 2001, I’ve used Cyberslotz (anyone remember them?), Sky Vegas, Jackpot Joy, William Hill, all fairly infrequently, just a few months at a time each. Then in more recent years, I use Royal Panda and Video Slots.
My fave by far has got to be Video Slots as I like their Tuesday free spins promo. I’m not sure how the XP system works as I’ve used VS a fair bit and I’m still only on level 1!
1“Hey you guys”… is that a reference to the Goonies? 😀 Anyway, welcome 🙂
The golden age of pub/arcade slots was without a doubt the £15/25 jackpot days.Profitable/fun machines if you knew which ones you could manipulate(legally) with a bit of knowledge to squeeze more out of them than your average joe (providing they’d taken a little bit first obviously)
faves were:
Psycho Cash Beast, Frenzy, Big Brother, Addams Family, Neptune’s Treasure, Pie Factory, King Kebab,
now Im settled down and only play online slots and lose like the muppets I used to laugh at…sad times..lol
Agreed Paul! I remember £10 jackers as well but I had only just turned 18 and didn’t play those very much. I played regularly in late £15 and throughout the £25 era. I’ve only ever been a casual (not “player” or “pro” type) and I agree with you that £15/£25 was the best. A good balance between having fun and not losing too much too quick, and occasionally making a fortune if the machine went invincible.
Favourite machines were: Fort Boyard / The Jackpoteers, Rolling Thunder, Tae Kwon Dough, Revolution / Battle Axe, Dosh & Pecks etc, King Kebab, High Flyer / Super Star, Hellraiser / Vamp It Up + clones, Mega Zone, The Rat Pack, Pie Factory 2, The Italian Job 2. I could name a lot more. I also liked some of the earliest Deal or No Deals from 2006/7 from when the jackpot was changing up to £35 but it quickly went downhill after that.
I know I’ll get a lot of hate for this, but I never got on with Psycho Cash Beast or its Frenzy variant. I also never got on with Pony Express either!
The way I see this is that Chilli, Vikings and Millionaire are marketed to those who like a gamble. They all have a gamble ladder and it is possible to lose on the first gamble.
If you prefer less risk, but you still want to buy a feature, then it is better to play something like White Rabbit, Book of Gods or Buffalo Rising where you will still get a feature and you see it unfold. The latter (Buffalo Rising) does involve a bit more risk in terms of what spins/multiplier you’ll get but at least you’re still getting a feature.
Like you saint900, I learnt this the fairly hard way when I was doing £20 or £25 Chilli buys when it came out last year.
1This game was a part of my huge cash builder the other day. Started off on 40p spins and the super bonus landed (3 chests all 2x) landed me £100 and I was over the moon haha
That’s what I had – 2x 2x 2x, not in a straight line but in V-formation. They cascaded down and more appeared and they were all 2x as well. I didn’t realise this was the super bonus. I thought that the chests were a different colour if it was super.
