About Kingmaker not completing its bonus, like @eejit101 said, you can try a different computer/device. You can also try the same device but a different browser. Firefox is my main browser but I’ve had it twice where Invaders Megaways displays the final win amount then is stuck on that screen and it can’t be clicked off or refreshed. Google Chrome had the same issue, but the Brave browser resolved the issue for me both times.
I remember one casino leaving the U.K. market (Royal Panda) and I was upto 78 bees.., then I couldn’t finish which really pissed me off.. on the flip side my personal best to trigger the swarm was 6!!
Not Wild Swarm, but I had a few Feature Drops partially built up on White Rabbit on different stakes. That was on Royal Panda. Then in early 2020, they left the UK market at relatively short notice so my build progressions were lost.
Brewdog (famous for Punk IPA and Elvis Juice) also makes a beer called Laser Quest. I sometimes call it Laser Fruit by mistake as in the Red Tiger slot, then sometimes I’ll call the slot Laser Quest, so mixing the 2 up.
Non-beer related: when shops added self check-out (Boots, WHSmith, Sainsbury’s etc), I was instantly reminded of note takers when they were new to fruit machines as they made the same whirring sound. This would have been in the late 2000s.
Last month, I had 3 back-to-back mega teases on Eye of Horus (regular version). Probably not uncommon for that game.
I once had a zero bonus on the High Voltage side of Danger HV, which is normally the safe side to pick out of the 2, so it just paid the 6X trigger amount.
On the one time I had around 35X in hold-and-spin values on Donuts, the Donuts feature itself went for zero. So in the end, 35X times zero is still zero.
Reference machines type B and C, these are down to the 2005 Gambling Act and the machines are given A, B, C and D.
A – these machines never existed in the end. They were unlimited stakes and jackpots and were meant for the so-called Super Casinos during the last Labour government but it got cancelled.
B1 – these machines are video slots and found in casinos with jackpots of at least £4000.
B2 – these were the bookies terminals that had video roulette and other table games, making this the only machine not to be fruit machine-based only. These got banned by our government in 2019.
B3 – these are the £500 jackpot machines found in arcades. These are video slots rather than traditional fruits. Famous titles include Rainbow Riches and Reel King and have been around for nearly 20 years! Before B3, these titles existed as Section 16 machines. Other examples are Rocky, Elvis 500 and Monty’s Millions, all going back 15-20 years.
B4 – these are club machines. They have 4 reels and are found found in membership clubs e.g. snooker clubs and the local hockey club. Jackpot is currently £200 or £400 if memory serves.
C – regular pub fruit machines with 3 reels. Jackpots have varied over the years such as £10, £15, £25, £35, £70 and is now £100. These pub machines seemed to have all but disappeared now and got replaced by video slots, but are still under ‘C’.
D – £5 and £8 jackpot adaptations of type C fruit machines found in arcades, fairgrounds and holiday camps.
2Hi Phil, and thanks for this Q&A thread.
My question is quite petty compared to most of the others on here. No particular slot or provider, but I find that on a teasing spin, the 3rd scatter (or 4th if relevant) misses by 1 position, and my perception is that it happens a lot. More so than any other type of tease where the 3rd/4th is nowhere to be seen. So my question is: am I over-imagining this or are slots really programmed like this as a form of gambler’s fallacy to keep the player playing?
I stick with 2 gambling sites and put a limit on both of them. They used to be Videoslots and Royal Panda. When Royal Panda stopped trading in the UK, I added William Hill so it was back up to 2 sites again. I don’t go above 2 sites, because if I do, where does it stop?
For offline, I leave my cards behind because I can pay for everything using my phone and there is no way that you can gamble in a shop if you can’t access an ATM. Then once a month, I will bring a card in for an arcade gamble.
So I still gamble, except it’s once a month on 2 sites and once a month in an arcade. It means I can still do it, just in a more controlled way.
The biggest change that happened for me was when the UKGC banned the roulette terminals in the bookies 4 years ago. I never played bookies roulette but I did play on the fruit/slot machine style games in the arcades. When the roulette ban came into force, the arcade machines started offering roulette games with a fortune spins. It’s kinda like a bonus buy but you have to spin spin spin to get it (£1 or £2 at a time) until you get it. Then this also made its way over to slot games and it was then that the slots became notedly worse for me.
The online side of things haven’t changed much for me though as most of the UKGC rules didn’t affect me except for autoplay. I bust out in most months but I still get the odd 200X to 800X wins on the slots that I normally play on. What I do miss though is being able to autoplay while grabbing a cup of tea to find that it has bonused itself when I came back to my PC.
I’ve never had the bad gateway error, but the forum has never been able to keep me logged in, even if I tick the “keep me logged in” box. If I come back the next day, I’m logged out again. It has been this way for the entire time this site has existed.
The immaturity in this thread is strong.
Not everyone are super-spellers. As long as posters use the site’s main language ehich is English and the posts can be understood, then I think it’s a-ok.
