I don’t really see what the issue is here to be honest? Quite clearly states that if you have deposited with a new card then you will need verified. As you have then this is why you have been blocked. Verify it then job done.

I think you normally find if you in open and honest with exactly what happened and so is the other person, should there be someone else involved, then Insurance companies pay what is due.

My only gripe is, initially our driving is judged by those that have gone before and that we are penilised for their mistakes, hence such high premiums for young and new drivers.

Bookies are always recruiting becuase of the high turnover of staff. I imagine it will slow down once the stake limit is imposed, and shops close.

Is it not probably to do with exchange rates? Like you buy euros for example at the post office, you’ll get for examlle 1.3 – 1. However should you decide then to sell your euros back you’ll only maybe get a rate of 1.2 – 1.

Like if you go to the post office and buy euros at a rate of 1.3 euros per 1 pound…. If you were to then sell them back to the post office you would only be offered a rate of 1.2 euros per 1 pound for example.

Tbh it doesn’t come as a surprise that a casino has tried to do this. Its always happening, but as people have said before if its in the T and C’s then there’s not much you can do unfortunatly. Put it down to a lesson learned. Be thankful you haven’t actually lost 11.5k

I’m management at William hill, and I haven’t heard anything, so I think your friend is telling porkies. There may well be various ideas, but nothing set in stone that has been passed down the management line.
