Saw this and had to log in to make a post…

Couple of years now when that radiohead slot or was it motorhead, came out for Netent they did a reel race on it on Casumo 2 grand max prize… I got off to such a mad start on it, and with 20 minutes to go I was clearly in the running.  Down to my last few spins I was in 3rd, about 20 points behind first and a couple of points behind second.  Bonus comes in, all I need is for it to pay 30x for a massive chance!  It pays 28.4x, I move up to 2nd, and now I’ve got no spins left.

Race ends and I finish 4th, only 60 points behind the first place.  Had that bonus managed to find another 70p I was 2 grand richer.  I’ll never forget that!!

I’m currently sat at 2 billion spins at 7 grand stake on that game and still no luck.

Games always seem to play better when they first come out.

Dazza g all the way, I know he’s not a streamer as such but the bloke always has me in stitches.  And obviously i’ve got to like the bandit seeing as I found his channel when he had less than 100 subscribers.   I seem to remember he was the first to do the bonus compilation style video and I thought it was a fantastic idea.  The likes of jimbo and craig showed up afterwards, and although I watched them and generally liked them, I didn’t think they were as good.  As far as streamers are concerned, I don’t watch them, I find most these games boring enough tapping away at for a decent win or bonus, let alone watch someone try it.  And I just don’t have the time.  Hypalinx though is a sound bloke and is streaming on Twitch now.

The engineers are out on mass, chipping the absolute **** out of Bonanza!!

These new games all seem like a swindle – imagine getting 23 spins with a x10 start on Bonanza, I mean theres no way that isn’t going massive?! But on the buffalo game i’ve seen it go as low as 70x, ridiculous, the spins are just so much more controlled to compensate for the apparently larger starting potential, and players are now offered the chance to gamble their whole feature to apparently hit this potential but in actual fact it’s just controlled to ****, it’s so noticable just by watching the games I don’t even play them.  Such a dangerous game model for problem gamblers.  I think it’s getting a bit too much, but that’s just my opinion.

Hey, I seem to remember one brand of casino would render your account inactive after 6 months of not logging in to anything on their platform, and then return all balances to the deposit card?  My guess would be you’d just left small pence amounts in several online casino accounts and they were returned recently.

4 wilds all x3 on raging rhino is always a good one!  I had it once but I only had J Q K on reel 1 and nothing connected to reel 6 (which had 2 rhinos on and 1 A and 1 Leopard) but it was still a monstrous win.

I did 1456 spins to be precise through jack and the beanstalk for a bonus a couple of years ago, it was on 60p stake and the bonus paid me £2.10.  I’ll never forget that one.  On the other end of the spectrum, I had 12 bonuses on scruffy duck in 100 spins.

The number one piece of advice I can give you is first off, if you’re serious about clearing your debts, make the decision to stop gambling.  Next, get in touch with StepChange.  Give them a call and they’ll talk you through everything.  You can get all interest frozen which is a massive help and peace of mind.  I would not recommend taking out a guarantor loan to consolidate; I did this and ended up gambling the majority of it, and just being in even more debt.

Utterly ridiculous.  My worst experience was with a casino “multilotto”.  Requested a withdrawal of £1500, processing for 3 days before it gets rejected because of ID documents.  End of the third day I time out for a week as i’m getting worried i’ll reverse the funds.

Literally the minute I time out I get the email about the ID documents being invalid.  I explain that I’ve just timed out, and they tell me basically the only option I’ve got is to wait the time, then log in and request the withdrawal again.  Reluctantly I do this, request the withdrawal again, and wait another 2 full days before being told that the address was incorrect because it doesn’t match what i’ve entered on the site.  (The site gave an error message when entering my house number, it’s 2A, and would not let me put letters into the field).  As soon as I registered I explained this to them, and they assured me it would be fine.  I respond to the email, copying in screen grabs of where I was told that this shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m then instructed to request the withdrawal AGAIN, so I do, and another 3 days pending period passes and I find the funds have once again been placed back in my account, this time because whichever moron was reviewing the documents apparently couldn’t make out the date on the proof of address letter properly.  It was clear as day.  At this point,  I’d had enough and I permanently self excluded on the spot, and told em i’d be getting in touch with UKGC or whatever with everything that’d happened over the last couple of weeks, and I’d be attaching supporting evidence.  Money in my bank 2 days later.  Ridiculous some of these places.

I personally felt like because I made smaller deposits and bust out frequently, I was automatically placed in a certain category at a lot of casinos, and it was made deliberately difficult for me to make withdrawals at a lot of places because the casino thought there would be a high chance of me reversing funds.

I’ve only ever had problems when I’ve had “large” withdrawals pending, meaning that the money’s essentially stuck in the account for several days, which is exactly what they want.  Funny how you’ve still got the ability to play the games in this time.  If I were you, i’d find a reputable casino, upload ALL necessary documents and wait for approval before placing a single bet.  That way, there will never be any issues and they can’t get you with shady underhand tactics.

I recognise the site.  I had a similar thing on there once but my bonus funds were about £500 and I needed to wager £300 more when I bust out the deposit.  It held over like yours has, and I managed to complete the remaining wagering requirement off another £40 which was extremely lucky.  No issues cashing out the funds afterwards.  I don’t really know what to suggest mate.

I had a similar thing happen on a Nektan casino once.  Can’t remember the exact details but I deposited £20 and got some kind of bonus, which I I got up to about £600 with only a couple of hundred wagering left.  I thought that whatever happens i’ll be cashing out atleast £400, so i’ll do the remaining £200 of wagering on dragon born at a fiver (just incase).  Well I got a 5 diamond trigger which rolled out for just under 5 grand.  Couldn’t beleive it, I was thinking of all the things I could do with that money, and the gambling related debt I could now pay off.  Last quid of wagering ticks over, and my £5700 balance becomes £60.  I literally stood there, mouth wide open, staring at the screen for about 10 minutes before finding a tiny link with another tiny link, to a massive page of tiny text and somewhere right in the middle of that, it stated that there was a max conversion on the bonus.  Absolutely horrendous feeling.  I’m so glad I don’t entertain this industry anymore.

Harsh reality of gambling mate.  Just because you see wins plastered all over the internet, don’t assume that will be you.  Casinos aren’t going to pull in customers by posting videos of the REALITY, i.e. families torn apart, jobs lost, lives taken.

That £40 someone clicks away in one spin on Wild Swarm is someone else’s food for 2 weeks.  It’s all retrospective.  Just because you see it on the internet doesn’t mean you can do it.  The people that convince you it’s a good idea to join these sites sure as fuck aren’t gonna be there to bail you out when it all goes to shit.

Next time, think about it.  Wise up.  Buy yourself a pair of jeans or something.  The sooner you see the industry for what it’s now become, the better.  You’ll find it easier to quit and you’ll feel much stronger. I certainly do.
