Yeah agreed it’s dramatic now guys. I made this thread first thing after the sleepless night when it all happened so I was still in shock and quite emotional. This thread and everything you guys have been posting and saying has really helped me come to terms with what’s happened and start to deal with it and move on. You’ve also helped me realise Its really not as bad as it could be. Genuinely appreciate and am very thankful to everyone who has posted and given me support and advice.

With that said, while you may not like some of the comments you’ve received ragarding this seeming iffy, those people are reasonably entitled to think so. You state you’ve been on the forum so you should be aware that there have been a lot of chancers trying to blag a hand out from the bandits generosity. Accompanied with the fact that your post does seem to blame the bandit whether you meant it to or not, you immediately referenced reel king which is a subject he takes flak for. Lastly if im correct you said you’d never gambled before but suddenly you’re upping stakes and cleaning yourself out which is not something a person who doesnt gamble would do, they have more respect for money. So don’t take it to heart that you’ve been questioned but just wanna show there are reasons why.

Thanks for post buddy. Understand what you are saying but I honestly didn’t mean to come across as blaming anyone so if it read as that I’m genuinely sorry. I’ve said several times in the thread I blame nobody but myself. I’ve got quite an addictive personality and I just ran away with myself. It’s all down to me and I fully accept that. Not looking for any sort of hand out or anything at all either. Like I say just here to vent and help myself quote. Thanks again buddy

Im not defending the lad, to be honest theres a few people on here that I would always back (probably even if they are wrong) but his first posts a couple of weeks ago where about starting to gamble online. He wanted to have a go at online slots, did, won, carried on, lost, lost a lot more then posted about it. If that’s truthfully what happened (and for once im being impartial) then he has the right to post on the forum.

Those of us that have been there before and done it will offer help and guidance on how he can get through it, which is what the original poster needs; so far he has not asked for a handout and to be brutally honest he wont get one.

If he has genuinely done his bollocks, the last things he needs is people giving him shit for it.

Yeah That’s exactly what has happened. If i’m getting some stick because people think im after a handout or am gonna ask for one then that is not the case. I have not come here for that.I just wanted to get this off my chest and out there, even if nobody responded and I just wrote it and posted it helped me feel like id got it out. I do not feel like I can talk to friends and family just yet, so this really helped. If I in any way gave the impression I wanted a handout then im sorry, that is not what I am after at all. Just trying to get over this deal with it and move on. All the advice is very much appreciated.

I came across it randomly surfing on YouTube. I’m not blaming anyone except myself. If you read all the other posts in this thread you will see that. It’s totally my doing and I’m dealing with it. I have no reason to lie about this.

I really resent this comment. Yes coming across the bandits videos on YouTube and then this forum may have made me try out slots. But that doesn’t mean it’s to blame for my loss in any way shape or form.

I do not regret finding the bandits videos and trying this out as I did have an enjoyable time at the beginning and still enjoy the videos, it’s his personality and comments not just the gambling.

My loss and spiral out of control are due to my own problems and inability to control myself when it mattered. Nothing else!

I don’t like that you are suggesting this is made up when it’s serious situation for myself.

That’s bang out of line. I had a great experience on reel king up until this happened and it was fully my own doing.

Unfortunately I’m in very bad debt as it is. It’s not gambling related at all it’s due to other personal circumstances but luckily I avoided adding to it at all with this. I literally took myself to nothing so I’m gonna have to get creative to make it until I get some pay. As far as rent and bills etc I’m really not sure what I’m going to do. I’ll have to come up with an action plan and work on moving forward. I just feel so gutted and stupid and foolish.

Thanks buddy good to know its ok. I’m just not sure what my next step is after blocking myself. Obviously I’m done with gambling but I mean rebuilding my life and actually managing to live with nothing left after a life changing loss.

Thanks for the response buddy. I think you are 100% right it’s not for me. Unfortunately  This will affect me for much longer than a month. But yeah it’s good it happened now I guess. Just wish I never started. Just gotta wrap my head around this and start addressing the huge mess I’ve put myself in.
