You’re completely and utterly wasting your time, not to mention SENSE is nothing to do with online casinos just land based casinos (and possibly land based bookies and arcades) so two completely different things
There are NO WAYS WHATSOEVER to cancel your Gamstop early, you won’t be able to gamble online again until April 2023 and even then expect to jump through some massive hoops when you try and sign up to gambling sites again who will see your Gamstop marker!
114th February 2021 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Accessing Casinos After Self-Exclusion Is A Joke! #107245Even when (if) they let you back expect to be hit with enforced deposit / loss limits that are so low it isn’t worth the bother
I tried online gambling in the middle of last year, got a few decent wins meaning a >£2000 balance which instantly means you have to send your life story just to cash it out, a few days later ‘yeah we’ve decided you can’t lose more than £800 a month’
After that I just sacked it off and signed up to Gamstop for 5 years
2You can play this (and other Pragmatic titles) in demo on their official site…with the super fast ultra mega turbo spins so you can really blast through and check out the bonuses
Most that I got seemed to hover between 50x – 100x
A lot of the UK casinos already enforce this now although not to such a harsh extent, but funnily enough only after you try to WITHDRAW rather than DEPOSIT…
For example over the summer I signed up to Rizk, turned £500 into £2500, got asked for passport and bank statement for the withdrawal to be processed…a few days later
After a review of your account, and the documents you have provided us with, we have set a monthly Net loss limit of £800 on your account.
So even though I had only lifetime deposited £500 on Rizk I was already hit with that limit on my account! Annoyed me so much I signed up to Leovegas, blew a few grand on there…as I said funnily enough no documentation or limits set there as I didn’t attempt to withdraw! – then signed up to 6 months Gamstop which is now I’m happy to say 5 years Gamstop
What is also strange is the fact a gambler can walk into a bookies / arcade / bingo / land based casino and essentially anonymously lose as much as they want without a bat of an eyelid anyway, I also find it DISGUSTING how at the seaside now kids can play the 10p Barcrest community games (Rainbow Riches Party / Boogie Nights etc.) so they’re familiar with them for when they turn 18 and see the same games in the adult area!
129th June 2020 at 9:54 pm in reply to: Major Issue: The New Slot Reel King Megaways Wasn’t Played in the New Video #101080Don’t think it matters where you sign up, the UKGC are making it as hard as possible for UK players to be adults and make their own decisions online!
Rizk I signed up, made some deposits no questions asked, soon as it came to a few withdrawals we need to see your passport and bank statement showing address, sent those in so I could actually withdraw my money – a couple of days later I had an enforced £800 monthly loss limit on my account and they started begging for a payslip, so I self excluded my account for 60 months there, mind your own business!
LeoVegas then let me deposit £500, £500, £500, £500, £500 no questions asked, no withdrawals but no doubt that would have gone a similar route, in the end I just thought forget it and whacked myself on GamStop for a year! (not even for the financial side as much as the I can’t be bothered with all this hassle and sending my entire identity to half the population of Malta side of things!)
Just sticking with land based now, walk in, put money in machine, put ticket in cash out machine (hopefully!), done…
I recommend avoiding Rizk too, signed up the other day, deposited and withdrew a few times, ended up asking for proof of ID passport / bank statement (to verify address) which I sent and they got approved – they decided to slap an £800 monthly loss limit on my account
Few days later now it is popping up asking for further documents in terms of a payslip, they ain’t having it, just decided to close the account instead
Signed up on LeoVegas now but only made one deposit there so far as the itch for online gambling has well and truly passed especially with all this nonsense! At least in the arcade I just walk in, put money in machine, get on with it without all the hassle!
Wow that is a monster! I would say congratulations but perhaps a bit premature!
You say you only signed up last week, did they ask for verification of your identity yet (passport photo etc)? As it seems there is a UKGC enforced rule where they have to ask for that for any wins of over £2,000
It can be exciting when you get a bunch of seaweed and the coins pop up, only to be let down by 1 1 1 2 1 1 Bonus Bonus!
A bit like that Wish Master game though in that as you’re clicking away through the dead seaweed it is costing you a credit each time so is a bit of a sneaky one!
Well after all that they’ve sent me an email today and enforced a £800 monthly loss limit on my account!
So don’t think I’ll play there again anyway, as I can think of absolutely nothing worse than being 800 down ‘tough luck see you next month matey!’
I get responsible gamling, I get I made a lot of deposits and withdrawals yesterday but if I wanted to set limits I would happily set them myself, ah well looks like I might be in lifetime profit from them now at least! 😀
I basically just brain dumped my session, appreciate it may just come across as waffle to some people! 🙂
All verified now (one thing I will give Rizk is they are incredibly quick at verification and withdrawals), so the grand is in my PayPal and I’ve put a 7 day time out on my account just to stop any potential temptation!
Sorry I wrote that with my own head in a bit of a mess haha!
Part 2 is shorter
Didn’t cash out the 900 quid, went on a load of random games which didn’t do much, balance down to £0, reload £500 (so £500 in basically which as I mentioned was my absolute limit)
Played Jammin Jars quite a bit and it somehow got the balance up to nearly £1k, but again just missing those monster connections! I then stupidly loaded up Razor Shark on £2, what a balance killer that is!
Back down to £500ish and right I’m going for it, Book Of Dead £4 stake…in drop the books for pineapple head, a 4 and a 3, £2k bonus thank you very much withdraw £1500 very quickly!
Somehow had £800 left in the balance after that withdrawal, should really have cashed out a further £500 but instead I stupidly decided to build up Lil Devil on £1 – jesus christ! 3 bonuses during the build for under £20 each time, and then the heartstopper paid even less! So that was £400 down and tilt mode activated, blew the rest on more random slots but never mind eh you live and learn
TL:DR – £1000 up in the end overall, satisfied my itch for now hopefully until the arcades open again anyway! Can’t deposit / withdraw until they verify me now anyway

9th February 2020 at 10:32 pm in reply to: Where can an ex-gambler borrow money when its urgent?! #90719Why would a bank offer you a loan when you already have a loan (or several) and your credit report is screaming of various pay day loans, missed payments, gambling transactions…
Look at it from their side and it becomes very obvious why they aren’t very keen to offer you any more dosh
The graphical nonsense means nothing just there to look good, you were winning 8 spins before the wheel even started spinning…
