Accept the £260 and move on, the engineer or pub will have pocketed the £40!

All you’ll get with the supplier is ‘we’ve checked the meters and it all matches up’

I once had a Powerplay with a £260 odd bank alarm in a Spoons despite weeks of arguments with Gamestec and Spoons head office I ended up receiving…£0.00

So I had a max budget of £100, therefore thought I would be in for about 10 minutes tops!

Spotted on the VIP terminals the joker pots thing was at 88 must go before 100 and 24 must go before 30 so might as well play on those with that as a potential bonus right?  Well what I failed to realize was those figures go up a whole penny per fucking million quid of turnover or it felt that way anyway!

Anyway I spotted a new Book Of Ra game, I seem to remember Bandit has played it online though it’s the Book Of Bird one where she gives you extra symbols for the bonus if you get 4 or 5 books otherwise just standard Book Of Ra fare, although the tease effect is actually great!

So slipped a £20 note in hoping for 50p play but minimum was £1 on these, ah whatever…bonus landed pretty much straight away, went for what £200?  Afterwards it started to go a bit bonus crazy, so my bank was nicely kept topped up then this one landed

At this point I’ve got £750 odd in the bank from a £20, I really really really should just walk now but those bloody joker pots are still annoying me!

So carry on for a bit and before I know it the bank is back down to a figure starting with a 3, then a 2, then a 1…you plonker Rodney!

I then float between games and £2/£3 stake and luckily get mid range bonuses on Lucky Lady and Dolphin Pearl to get back up, then I think ‘hey I fancy a bit of original Book Of Ra now!’  Hit the bonus on £2 for matey himself…oh joy…then he decides to return from his year round holiday!

Go over to the cash desk to get paid only to be told my casino account is suspended…huh?!  The gaffer eventually comes over and tells me it is because next visit they want something showing proof of address, whatever considering the last visit was the world cup you might be waiting a while mate!  Anyway finally get that sorted and wander over to the £500 machines

Load up Black Knight community for no real reason and stick it on £1 stake, within £20 1 wild pick…2 wild picks…bonus!  First bonus spin DUM DUM DUM and the twat has only gone and landed all 3 of his wild reels the first spin!  So that instantly awards £250 which is the jackpot on £1 a go, very nice.

But then…a repeat chance pops up!  It’s obviously gonna be st…REPEAT!  £500 quid jackpot machine spawn of the century!

After that I just bugger around for a bit on various machines low stakes, get quite drunk and then venture to the outside balcony for some fresh air, as I’m walking back in I shove one of the £500 terminal cash out tickets into a VIP again as for some reason the cash out terminals don’t recognize them unless they’re printed from a casino machine, decide to have a few more spins on Book of Bird and 4 books land, ah good we get to see what happens now, lands a top symbol and a jack, then it does this…

Thanks!  Although in 80 spins I think I got 3 birds once and NO full screen of jacks which felt a bit harsh!  Also I should point out earlier in the evening I got a bonus that started with 3 books but retriggered in the bonus with 4 books, sadly that doesn’t let you have another symbol just the usual 10 extra spins…

Amazing run of luck which never ever ever ever seems to happen in a land based casino if you’re chasing but always seems to happen if you’re not expecting anything from a session!

Him and Nickslots used to play the game all the time and it is very boring to watch!  Followed by the obvious 1x – 5x from the wheel when you can just take a 5x cashout anyway!

Having a vote for every pick is very very very annoying too JUST PICK ONE IT’S PREDETERMINED!

I think every gambler has this mindset, also only a handful of times did I ever get a big win and think right I’m off to buy xyz, in fact I remember one particular session when the iPhone 4 came out I was in the arcade, Gold £500 pot on Neptune’s Treasure, Gold £500 pot on Tutti Fruity then a £250 odd Silver pot on Mummy Money, all I had to do was walk NEXT DOOR to the Vodafone shop and buy one, of course I didn’t and ended up losing the dosh over the rest of the day!

Then you would have the days where you would be £400 up but then lose £100 and chase it (WHY?!), only to be £600 later and thinking ‘oops!’

The ‘score’ means absolutely nothing to a lender, don’t concentrate on it

Sadly your credit file will be littered with payday loan records which is the real killer, your chances of getting a mortgage this time next year are slim to none, 2-3 years maybe but it could be up to 6

You need to concentrate on qutting the gambling and paying off your debts before asking to loan probably the biggest and most important loan in your life!

A hassle to sign back up to Gamstop…well it certainly doesn’t take a month!

Where is the Reel King special?  I’m sure you said it was available at the same time as the normal video at the start of the normal video!

    It’s rather simple really

If a gambler has access to money they’ll gamble!

Back in my worst days I was earning a decent wage every month (Around £1500 but usually overtime etc. stuck on top too), living at home so minimal expenses and I consistently blew the lot – ended up with overdrafts, a bank loan, 12 or so payday loans (yes, really!)

Somehow I had been juggling all that so I was in debt but managing to pay them all off monthly so they didn’t chase me, until one gloomy day where I got paid, decided it would be a fantastic idea to go to Scarborough and blew my pay plus whatever was in the bank by mid afternoon!

So the next day I confessed all to my parents who were understandably mega upset, angry, confused although of course they had an idea I had been up to it all along, they instantly took control of my bank accounts and we started sorting things out, number one priority obviously the payday loans which they paid off on the spot and I would pay them back in the months that followed

That was in 2011, fast forward to today and they can still access all my banking / statements and whatever else but I am in a much better place now, I might have a few hundred quid a month blowout here and there but nothing like back then and ironically I’ve built up a decent savings pot in the meantime as I actually find it ‘hard’ to spend money now! (I can’t describe it!)

Anyway my point is posting on here with a sob story won’t get you far, tell someone you trust and allow them in to help you!  It takes bigger balls to admit it than the balls to gamble £40 tops on Reel King but you’ll be in a much better place afterwards!

I also found GA didn’t work for me personally

To be honest anyone stupid enough to bother playing it deserves to lose every penny…normal roulette has a house edge, this gamble style roulette just increases that even more in the bookies favor!

Pie gambles are quite addictive, the best ones are when you somehow get 50p to £500 or get up to £30 or whatever it is that allows you to max it up to £500 with the tiniest win section and watch as it comes in!

There is also getting to £400 from peanuts then hitting it for the £500 and DONK! I only ever did that once in William Hill, I could still tell you the exact branch and terminal position even though it was years ago…all I think of looking back in hindsight is why the hell didn’t I save £300 at that point as I was risking £400 to win £100!

I once also got a £360 odd win on Rainbow Riches Free Spins and was intending just to collect or at least part save at the pie gamble but as I reached over to the screen my coat caught the Start button and my heart stopped as the needle went round – luckily it landed in win!

Surprised he still finds so many terminals in the arcades with it turned on as they switched it off in all the major chains quite a few years ago, now most new games come with that stupid Pick and Mix style gamble where you can’t save a penny so it is utterly pointless really!

Bonus abuse and you’ll potentially have the lot taken off you

You’ve won £1k, basically the rest of the balance might as well be Monopoly money and is probably even less valuable than that!

These days I actually enjoy going to the bookies now and again with a strict £50, or £100 if feeling flush and just sticking to 20p / 50p, feels like actual entertainment rather than chasing

The slots on the William Hill terminals feel a lot more friendly for this than Ladbrokes/Corals though, probably because the Blueprints have random features and quite a lot of different bonuses that they can chuck in
