The single best thing you can do with your life imho. Congratulations xbobmad. My little one is 4 now and he’s hilarious. The light in my life. Cracks me up daily, I’m going to miss him when he’s all grown up.

My advice to you would simply be enjoy every moment, you can never take enough photographs, love the hugs and support your other half in any way that you can, especially in the first 3 months and then again if she goes back to work eventually, those are particularly difficult times for her in my limited experience.

For me it felt like a dream until I held him in my arms after cutting the cord then suddenly boom! I’m a dad. Magical. Good luck.

It’s how the world is now. People don’t own their actions. Someone else is always to blame. Hell our government has been blaming the eu for stuff that has nothing to do with the eu for decades and that’s at the top level, its just maddening.

Can’t get the job /house you want? Blame immigrants (ignore our incredibly low unemployment rates and don’t blame the government for not building enough houses or for not investing all the money immigrants bring into the public coffers into public services)

Tripped over? Blame the council because you weren’t looking where you were going

Burnt your mouth on the coffee you just ordered? Must be their fault for not warning you that coffee is hot

Lost money gambling more than you can afford to lose? Must be a random guy on the Internet who spends imho way too much time talking about how you shouldn’t gamble more than you can afford and you shouldn’t copy him in his insane stunts.

The vast majority of businesses manipulate customers.

That’s how they increase their bottom line. I am entertained by streamers.. I enjoy chocolate and mcdonalds.

I despised the lib dems for enabling the first 5 years of austerity, a leading cause of brexit, I vowed to never vote for them again and yet found myself doing it in the European elections as they were the best choice for my pov. I’m allowed to do all those things. That’s my freedom of choice.

For the record I’m not going to go around starting threads about the alt right or general CTs or trumpet fans or even something as benign as ‘why do you think brexit is a good idea?’

I will ask people to show their workings when they claim what I consider to be far out there ideas tho. I honestly believe you can’t allow those ideas another echo chamber or allow someone else to be tricked into following them.

I agree just basics, the same can be said about pretty much any advert I’ve ever watched heh. Results may vary.

 

Im not trying to say I agree with it in fact I don’t. I think gambling is a horrible thing to advertise in any way.

Actually I believe that you can change people’s minds over time but if you just allow people to believe something unchallenged then they will never change. I don’t get worked up with any of these debates, I’m just genuinely trying to help.

No problem just basics. I’m not intentionally trying to upset anyone. I really dislike CTs because they are designed to turn people’s heads from the reality they are living in, a reality that they can effect. They are harmful imo.

It’s entertainment ultimately, yeah it’s got a nasty gambling edge to it but in the ‘free’ society we live in you get choices about what you consume.
