Can someone please explain to me what the fuck “house edge” on blackjack means.

    Ive never heard such cobswallop!

Surely the player has the edge. The player can stick or twist on 17 but the dealer usually cannot! Plus if the dealer is up against a full table then wheres the edge?

See members using this term “house bloody edge” all the time to defend casinos. With nothing more to add but that.

    Its pish in my opinion.

Of course they have an edge,as usual you talk nonsense…you are on about we have choice to hit or stick,we can also bust before the dealer does anything so lose no matter what.

Perhaps the most famous case of online cheating in online poker history, this scandal dates back to September 2007 when players started accusing the site of having superuser accounts.

These accounts could see the hole cards of other players. Hand histories for the infamous POTRIPPER account all but proved the existence of such an account. Absolute Poker would later admit that such accounts existed. The site then repaid over $1.6 million to players and paid a hefty fine.

UltimateBet has similar allegations that started in January 2008 after suspicious activity was reported from the account of “NioNio.” After an investigation, it was discovered that cheating had occurred from January 2005 through December 2007.

The Kahnawake Gaming Commission conducted a thorough investigation and determined that the ultimate mastermind behind the cheating scandals at UltimateBet was 1994 WSOP Main Event Champion Russ Hamilton. His scheme cost UltimateBet over $22 million.

Hamilton even admitted to cheating players out of millions. In 2013, a recording from a private meeting was released online that included Hamilton. He admitted the following:

“I did take this money and I’m not trying to make it right, so we’ve got to get that out of the way real quick.”

To this date, Hamilton has kept true to his word and not attempted to repay any funds stolen from players. He has effectively been blackballed from the poker world and has only been seen a handful of times playing poker since.

Everything is “possible”..like rigging roulette table/blackjack etc,the point is why would a decent casino need to do this as house edge is in there favour, why i would never risk signing up to anywhere that isnt atleast under the gambling commision…the worst was that poker site, forget name now and cant be bothered searching, but the owner had it so he could see the other players cards,he played high rollers and conned them out of a shitload before he was caught.

Leovegas i use paypal and has a good range of slots, caumo is a good one but does not accept paypal…if you having bad experiances i would suggest verifying your account before you actually play anywhere, its all part of the curse now you will always be ask for verify accounts at some point so may aswell just get it done before you actually win something.

Also the the pie part grows from spin 16-17 rather than shrink..so might be best tactic to stop once you hit 17 spins….not sure if it grows if youve done multiplier spins first.

Agree blacko1974  so here it goes how many tops will the bandit get tonight i say 3  one at £8 for a 1k profit then one at £16 and get a 12k profit then one at £30 for 20k profit all from a 5k deposit

He doesnt usually up stakes unless he lost to much for that lvl to pay out,so from a 5k deposit i dont think that will happen.

I have a quick question vape related if the vapours out there may be able to help me with. I understand that it is supposed to be healthier or whatever than actually smoking but are you not just swapping 1 for the other? I thought they were meant to help stop smoking however i know a fair few people who have been on them since well when they came out. Like you said you have been on them for years do you intend to stop or is it merely a replacement?

I smoked from the age of 14 till i was about 39…by that point i was coughing up crap on a daily bases, ive now been vaping for for close to 4 years and have not coughed up any gunk since vaping,so although yes i am still addicted to nicotine i know by the way my body now acts its atleast dping nothing like the dmg smoking was.

Almost same as me mate. I think between the ages of 14 to 38 and I’m 4 years stopped in June. I just wonder where the money went I’m supposed to save. Yeah right it just goes on something else. What I mean by that I think the missus spending seemed to conveniently increase round the time I stopped. Coincidence I wonder lol.

Yeah ive not noticed any extra cash, but health wise i know its better, maybe at some point i will stop vaping also but dont feel its harming my body atall and do enjoy it:).

wound up blowing it doing a bunch of £1 spins on captain venture and some others, was quite fun. I found extra chilli to be about as good as bonanza whilst also shaving money off a 40p stake bonus buy for the future so i found that more worthwhile.

Captain venture at only 94% rtp is one of the worst slots to try do wagering.
