They certainly can persue this if they wish too and in this case would mostly likely win if they did. By the looks of it they have already raised a dispute. Time will tell

Seen it happen a couple of times most of the time i see it happen with betfred they are hopeless. Not bad if dont plan on using them again they can persist to get these funds back so keep that in mind before spending it. Most of the time they will just send emails and not proceed with legal action with amounts so small. I would also message your tipster and call him a knob for being useless…
