Also children respond much more strongly to impulsive urges, obsessive and addictive behaviours because their brains aren’t fully developed. Basically what happens when you gamble or take drugs is that your brainwaves are altered. In a healthy adult, when they stop gambling, drinking or taking drugs (sober or wake up) then their brains return to normal brain patterns. With children and vulnerable people, when they start gambling/drinking/drugs, their brains DO NOT always return to normal patterns. They can be permanently affected.

Or kids can just have fun playing games….

I have great memories of going to the shows/arcades as a child. I dont think house edge has anything to do with it. As a child these are games you are not looking for a big win or to even profit as a child (atleast i wasn’t) your problems may have started way back then at the arcades but as you say loads of familys go and they dont all turn out addicted. Of course its your choice on how you raise your kids. Good luck ?

I haven’t won yet, I’ve been trying to bring the 1k with me each time, its pretty difficult. I lost on question 7 last week. If I get to question 10 with 1k I’ll probably split it.

personally i starting splitting well before question 10 not 50/50 but after question 5 left my self 100ish or something then just went 100% if they main side lost

A few people have put £500-£1000, £1000-£5000 and £5000+.  What are these guys?  CEOs?  Hedge fund managers?  Property investors?

For me, I have a £50 limit on Video Slots and Royal Panda, so £100 spend per month max for online gambling.

My salary is £15000 (take home about £1100 per month).

Not at all. My wage is actually pretty similar to yours. Turning over 5k isnt really that much not to be mistaking with losing 5k

If there is even a remote chance of getting your deposits back I’d say go for it. You have nothing to lose. Who cares where you were irresponsible or if you had won. Fact is that’s in the past. If they are in the wrong as blacko has said he enquired successfully so it’s worth pursuing.

Have to disagree here, and this is indicative of why you should rarely trust a gambler.  i have seen endless stories on here of individuals who took out Payday Loans to gamble, lost and then blamed the nasty people for lending them money they cant afford.   Then we have the gamblers who have lost and complain that they shouldn’t have been allowed to gamble so they want their money back.   I come from an earlier era where if you borrow money you pay it back, and if you gamble and lose then you accept that fact with equinamity.    I personally hope he is unsuccessful, and that’s not aimed at him personally, merely based on my view that he knew what he was doing when he deposited.  Its a gambling site, not a daddy day care centre where someone is required to watch over you to make sure you don’t do something you shouldn’t.

Harsh as it may be i completely agree maybe learning the hard way is the only way already being on gamestop you obviously knew what you were doing
