Not sure I really understand what you are trying to achieve by posting this. If you don’t believe it’s true then why say anything at all? What response are you hoping for?

Was literally coming on to post something similar to your thoughts. Only thing I can say there is perhaps it is more of a genuine chance and not predetermined and that is why it is the top bonus? I’d hope thats the case as the other dond game bandit played at the end is so obviously rigged. Still made for an exciting video didn’t it!!

Every grey haired and bearded person I see is referred to as Gandalf. Oh and last summer my brother took up fishing – he still to this day has no idea why I always call him Franky!

Reality check mate incoming. People end up on the streets thinking the way you do right now. Grow up. Snap the fuck out of it. Imagine having to crawl to the last person in the world you would want to have to ask to bail you out when you lose it all, and trust me, you will. Get a fucking grip, man up and stop fucking dreaming. Deep breath, go to bed. It ain’t gonna happen tonight.

I have some experience of this, although from the other side as have been in retail management for a few high turnover companies for a number of years. Firstly in the current climate, even billion pound companies are feeling the squeeze with regard to wage budgets so don’t be so sure that internal shrinkage on the kind of scale you are talking about will not effect other staff, individual stores in a larger chain are still expected to make profit, and lower profit has the knock on effect to wage budgets before ANYTHING with regards to cost cutting to make up budget shortfalls.

Not saying that to stick the knife in or anything, that is just a fact of retail. I’m glad you are trying to turn things around and are using this as a wake up call. From my experience, we have someone currently under investigation for multi thousands of pounds of refund fraud over about 5 years, the investigation has been ongoing for about 3 weeks and police have not been involved as yet as the companies profit protection team based at head office are still putting all the information together and trying to assess the scale of the fraud. Luckily the girl involved had already left and it only came to light because she got greedy in her final week.

Anyway the procedure that your company should have followed was for you to have been immediately suspended on full pay while the investigation took place. You then would have been invited to an interview with the company loss prevention team where you would be confronted with the evidence and decide if there is a case for you to answer. The next step would then be likely dismissal for gross misconduct and THEN the police would get involved/or not if the amount was not deemed prosecution worthy, this would generally be made known to the individual at the time of dismissal though.

Did your former company do any of this? as they would be required to follow a process even if you were literally caught with your hand in the till – suspension, investigation, disciplinary interview to decide if there is a case to answer, dismissal THEN police involvement of not. That may not be the case with small mom and pop stores but a billion quid company absolutely would have to follow this.

Sorry for the long post! With all that said I do wish you all the best and hope you get your life back together.

Out of interest the 6/1  seems a big price for this bet?

I take this is in running? true odds nearer half this, was it a special?

I don’t know for sure but looking at the original pic on the Twitter feed, it says “next home team goal ” underneath so was probably in play, perhaps placed after 10 or 15 minutes which would maybe explain the slightly longer odds a bit more?

Incidentally noticed while checking the Twitter  feed again to check the pic, it seems somebody has been able to get a shot of the in stadium match clock which shows an identical to the second time as on Rangers tv so the evidence is sorta piling up now!

The wording of the bet says goal before 30:00, so not the 30th minute – there’s a small distinction there – the 30th minute would be 29:00-29:59 so if it was to score before the 30th minute the bet wording would be goal scored before 29:00 – the issue appears to be that 365 are saying they independently time games and by their clock it was on 30:00 exactly. The fact that multiple sources such as BBC, the actual tv clock all say 29:58 is where it looks dodgy as hell to me.

I’d like to weigh in here in response to Dc’s post,  as I posted something similar a few days ago. Sometimes people just post this sort of thing to vent (which was my reason) or because they have never been in a bad financial position such as this before and made an assumption that people on a gambling forum may have some experience they could provide.

Not sure why cynicism is required when someone is only requesting advice. from my perspective I would echo the advise of everyone else, speaking to a trusted family member or friend, self exclude from the site and take the lesson. That’s what I did.

From my limited slots experience, what I’ve noticed with some slots, you will make a deposit and do a hundred or 2 hundreds spins, get no teases and it just seems totally dead until your deposit has whittled away to next to nothing. Time after time you suddenly start getting teases and mega teases all of a sudden in like your last 10-15 spins. It’s almost like the slot knows the balance and is trying to tempt you into a reload.

oh another one is when you get a screen full of wilds that doesn’t connect for even a win- Bruce Lee is a bugger for that… Napoleon as well loves to throw in a shit load of wilds on reels 3,4 & 5 that doesn’t connect. It’s like the slot is just giving you the middle finger every bloody time!

Also slots should not even be programmed to give zero bonus it’s purely put in to tilt the player. Slots seem to be psychological warfare sometimes…

Thanks for sharing Argyl, it certainly puts my own personal experience this weekend into perspective and although mine was on a far lesser scale I can totally empathise with how you are feeling – turning the clock back etc. Massive respect to you for walking away from it for a while.

I hope you have a top Christmas and stay strong on the break.

Whilst on the subject, does anyone have a good suggestion for a site that doesn’t have slots and is purely for betting? (Does one even exist out there?) I suddenly realized when I self excluded from sky Vegas that it (obviously) included skybet .

I am very sensible with my footy bets (absolutely no risk of doing my balls on that) and I missed not being able to have my couple.of pound footy accy punt on a Saturday today. I know I can just nip into a betting shop but I quite like having the cash out option as well. Any ideas folks?
