Don’t see what the issue would be here at all. He’s offering a potentially helpful tool to members on a forum that has dried up massively compared to this time a year ago. I’d definitely check it out Key_147 if you can point me in the right direction.
many will be looking to start the new year with a fresh start away from gambling and so your story on your success as you say could prove a massive help to somebody
I’m also on gamstop for the longest duration available (5 years) after the same thing. My 6 months expired and I came off, I lost more than I could afford due to the wrong attitude, I kept depositing thinking ‘well this isn’t bad because I’ve saved loads more in the last 6 months prior to this than I usually would’, the important thing is to remember why you signed up in the first place and try to stick with it as often the return to gambling can be more out of control than before you even put the restrictions on
I believe 100% of money staked on the race bookmakers are donating to the NHS, meaning unlike any other race you have the chance to win, but don’t have to feel as if you’ve ‘lost’ money if your selections don’t come good, as your punt will be going to a good cause!
Magic of light would have been my national bet at 18/1
vintage clouds the each way shot at 33s!
Ahh piss off, we all know that’s Rhyl …..
He should’ve gone to Rhyl and saved a few quid to get that dogshit tattoo finished.
And spent some of the winnings on a gym membership to lose the beer belly
Lloyds also have this option to freeze gambling transactions, extremely easy to turn on, just have to go to the card management section on your online banking, to turn off you need to call them and they will decide if it should be turned off or not. Im also on gamstop but still turned this on too. Can never be too covered
Stupid bet, made even more stupid if its true that you have a christmas loan to pay back like you were saying 3 days ago… Advice if you wanna be able to pay it back, stop gambling and stop gambling in a way that you’re just chucking away money
There is a place you can ring that will exclude from any bookies that you choose and trust me it works I won’t step foot in a bookies now for the sheer panic of the booming voice SORRY MATE YOU CAN’T BE IN HERE and then be unceremoniously frog marched out it’s happened once before and never again I will look up the emails for a contact number it was all done via email and phone call and for some reason once you sign up with these (it’s free) the bookies take it extremely seriously hope this helps buddy
Its MOSES, stands for Multi Operational Self Exclusion Service or something along those lines. lasts for a year but then its a simple call to call up and extend, I’ve done it for 18 months now. After the year you also have to call up to remove it and then wait 24 hours before going in, it doesnt automatically drop your details from the server. MOSES works and you can exclude from all in a certain radius, im now excluded from all bookies within a 20 mile 15 mile radius from my house, think theres about 40 odd on my self exclusion list, definitely works and definitely worth doing its so simple to set up.
11I signed up through MOSES, they were brilliant as 1 phone call of no longer than 5 minutes sorted my exclusion from all the bookies in a large radius.
1 day a new bookies opened, for months i didnt enter until 1 day i really wanted to do a bet on a big horse race that was off that afternoon, I tried my luck as I didnt think they would have my MOSES application as when i signed up they werent open, however after about 30 minutes in there the guy came up to me with my MOSES form and asked me to leave, he was chilled about it as i explained I didnt think this shop was included but the whole situation as you could imagine was pretty embarrassing.
The good news is the horse won and i left with a tidy profit, Im also glad that i was asked to leave as it shows it works and means there is no chance now i will risk walking in to there or any other shop again.
A lot of people criticise it saying that the self exclusion doesnt work, but its 100% success rate in my case.
Take a look on the website and give the number a call, you wont regret it
1For as long as i can remember bet365 have always given cash out options to winning bets of 1p over (such as all games in on a BTTS bet the cash out for the remainder of the game will be 1p higher than the returns of the bet.) Ive not had a bet365 account now for about 4 years but when i did it was even the same back then. I was always told it was to speed up the process as they then dont have to settle the bets when youve chosen to cash out, but after this maybe it is just so they can cover their backs in the event of a mistake. The fact they offered 1p more doesnt surprise me as like i say theyve done that for winning bets for a long time, its how they can use that to get them out of their own errors which is wrong.
the casino made the error of providing an opportunity of full cash out as soon as the goal was scored, that’s simply a mistake they have to deal with in my opinion. If a goal is scored why would they not suspend the cash out until var is complete? I don’t see why they should be able to take money out of the account just because they made a mistake in offering that cash out presuming the goal would stand? Cash out is there to tempt punters to take their money and run when you are happy with the amount offered, that’s simply all the guy has done here but now they’re demanding it back because they screwed up??
For me it will always be elf and I don’t think any film releases will be able to change that?
Judging from his tweet the draw will go ahead but hopefully those who have entered more than once will have all their entries taken away, that way prizes go to only the genuine ones that entered the once, anyone who has tried to cheat only have themselves to blame, sad that some have to try and ruin it! Good luck to all real members on here that positively contribute to this forum I hope you get lucky with the draw! But I also wouldn’t mind if number 42 came out right now, I think that was my number anyway??
Im on gamstop now but I wouldn’t say i enjoyed it when i was gambling at all which is even more strange considering how much time and money i gave to it. I very much enjoyed sports betting, horses, dogs were a hobby, studying form and following the top horses etc, football accumulators which i still do each saturday, even though i’ve only landed about 5 all season! But when i was gambling on casino games i was far too reckless to enjoy it staking at times probably more than i could afford to meant i was full of nerves during sessions. The only enjoyment would ever come when i had won and got out of there. I dont miss it at all, im much happier and more stable without gambling, the only thing i miss is the horses and dogs, i still watch and follow results.. maybe soon ill trust myself back in a bookies but for now im content cutting it out for good
121st December 2019 at 11:41 am in reply to: Casino refusing to let me cancel account/self exclude #85449I’m not sure if it will be the same for this casino but my friend had the same problem, wanted to close his account and they said no you have to email and wait, I told him to tell them he was on gamstop (even though I don’t think the casino in question was registered with gamstop) and and it was irresponsible of them to not follow through with his request and that he will be screenshotting the chat and sending it to the UKGC for further help, their reply was please wait… then chat was disabled and account was closed. That trick may work for you as it seemed to help scare the casino off in his case?
