It happens quite alot that people stumble due to drivers braking and a claim goes in…..one of my biggest fears!

I’m not sure if I’d have to pay the money back or not if I got sacked but being unemployed isn’t really an option either! That’s why I tried to consolidate my debt so I could maybe pick up some low paying work until I got something better!

I’m sure if you were sacked then your employer would still say you a liable for the costs. If I was in your shoes I would either get a DRO and clear of all of my debts or go to the GP and get signed off, and then look for another job immedietely. If you are not eligible for SSP from work, then you can get it from UC with an advanced payment to keep you going. If you call or email a few employment agencies in your area you would be surprised that they generally have a lot of ongoing work in a variety of places which might suit you.

I understand, although the employer won’t give SSP, you would get Universal Credit payments until you were cleared to work again or found another job. Can you not find another job and leave it?

Also, the Debt Relief Order is not real bankruptcy. I believe its a type of insolvency, it only lasts one year and it won’t affect your family at all. You can select what debts to enter in to the DRO. It might be worth researching if you do decide to leave the Bus Driver training, at least you can clear the cost of the training perhaps. It was good that you followed an ambition of yours and kudos for doing it. Not everything works out as you expect sometimes but I hope your next move is a positive and fulfulling one!

I think its fine as long as you make it clear in the description, take lots of photos clearly showing its conditon and always send by tracked mail. Also, if you are worried, impose a minimum feedback limit on your item. Say “no buyers under 150-200 feedback (100%)” or something along those lines. It really helps seperate the chancers from the legitimate buyers!

A consolodation loan for what? To pay the training costs? Don’t bother. Get down to the GP and tell them its depressing you and he could sign you off it on medical grounds and you won’t be liable for anything.

If that fails, get a DRO and clean all your debts for a mere £90 fee at the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Just to add, they can’t draw blood from a stone or make you feel trapped in something you don’t want to do. Long story short, tell them to shove it up their a*se.

Hi thisgirl 2019 I’ve just had to go back and read the threads again where the word Jaffa was used and I had commented below it, in my mind the insult from Stevie was not directed towards you but to the poster who commented about you which was under the belt.

A jaffa is an insult towards a males genitalia, like the Jaffa orange Seedless lol

it was common insult used regularly many moons ago, which is why I commented

I hope this clears it up for you and please don’t think my comment was in any way directed towards yourself or your post.

I think you are right to be honest.

Having an open party for anyone to attend with a free bar is asking for trouble. Not even mentioning that its the Bandits local pub so he would not want to bring a negative situation amoungst the landlord when he attends there regularly!

I would love to go to meet the bandit and members of the community but I don’t drink and I don’t know if I would be in the country when it happens.

Would it not be wiser to just invite members of the forum who have made a meaningful and valid contribution to the community and perhaps allow them to bring a +1. At least that way I think most people will behave themselves and you could trust that they would bring someone with them who will also behave and enjoy the night.

There should be a rule of instead of it being a win it says the amount you lost on the spin haha

Only BTG can definitively answer that question, but yes my understanding is that DHV and Bonanza bonus rounds, each spin is random. Not that this means anything; you’d have just as much a chance of winning less had you played it a different time as winning more, but it would mean your outcome would have been different in some way.
