Played this the other day for small stakes, £10 buyins, lost on every single one of them, terrible. So tilted and went for one last £60 buyin. There’s a vid on here I posted of what happened. Typically, this free demo just went 557x from £100 buy in first go. lol

But thats an award winning insurer. Pick a broker who works on commision or an insurer on price over service then expect to get spanked when you need them.

But they all have to work by the same rules surely ? brokers, middle men, actual insurers etc.

I recently had a bump that has made my car uneconimcal to repair in my opinion. However, it literally just happened so I bought another car. Literally half the value and about 60% the bhp, but the exact same model, just not the more powerful one. My insurance for the year is fully paid up and I have 2 months left. They went to change my insurance over to the replacement car and told me I have to pay an extra £188 for the remaining two months. Including their £30 fee to click a few buttons, which they still have to click if I say no, forget it. That works out to a roughly 250% increase of the whole premium. Given 1/12 of the paid premium was around £50 and the added on £80.

As my car is my legs, I feel seriously screwed over. They say my next quote will be in the region of 400% higher than this years was.

My first claim in over 300,000 miles of driving. And I don’t even want them to fix my car and the damage to the other vehicle is about £300-£500. Of course, this is all guess work, except for the above premium charges. I’m considering legal action but really want the stress to just go away.

Ebay is a gamble. You can do your best to protect yourself by being fully descriptive about the phone but that chance that you will get a corrupt customer is always possible. Ebay supports the cash ie the buyer, way more than the seller, the goods.

I will ONLY sell things on there that cannot be faulted or are collect only.

When driving, don’t ever let anyone bully you with a tight timeframe mate. Your the one driving and it’s your license on the line. You decide the speed you go, not some jumped up planner in the office. If they wanted to discipline you for driving slow, get the union in. There is no way that you can be bollocked for driving in a manner you deam safe, especially when carrying members of the public. Yup, you actually have the laws of the road on your side. Many buses are late and while the average person moans, the reason is very rarely the drivers fault. And if something isn’t your fault, you can’t be punished for it. They make the timetable strict because it has to be, but it’s not the end of the world. You just need to suss out when you should communicate a delay and how to handle it. which isn’t difficult. I suspect you have been lead to believe you must mow everyone down and smash through everyone to be not less than one millisecond late.

Speak to other drivers on how they find it and how they deal with it. I really think it’s not as bad as you have been lead to believe.

I drove 7.5t for agencies which is the worst. One day I was expected to drive a truck with two bald tyres. I refused. It cost me a days unpaid work and a frown from the c*nt at the agency who got a piece of my mind and a warning that I would go to his boss. You might find you have to stand your ground in a situation but the average situation is no drama.

Carry on and do some research. I’m sure you’ll find it’s not the stress it is painted as. They just want you on time, if possible and not because you felt like pulling up an having a nap for half hour.
