To be clear, the homeless point (as shite as it is) was about the fact that the official statistic didn’t tell the truth. And I sighted the source, Geezawin replied about it so I assumed must have seen it. Stating something along the lines of how that really grounds the issue, or words to that effect. I do believe it was on the thread that was removed as I tried to search but cannot find it now.

Well the dealer clearly switched the card so that the dealer would win.

To the point seedy makes about perpetual motors. i had no idea they did that. I know very little about roulette but I know a bit about engineering and some laws of physics which to me scream there is no need for a perpetual spin aid motor. A simple static heavy weight balanced on the wheel axle would suffice in prolonging and smoothing a spin.

Let’s get away from the gambling for a moment.

In 2017 my local council presented the official statistic that 6 people were homeless.  There is no link to prove otherwise, unless the local paper’s website or something as ‘official’ is brave enough to contradict the official statistic given. They weren’t.

So does that then ruin my credibility when I sit here and tell you that there were at least 80 homeless people that ‘we’ know about and over 200 people being fed at the local soup kitchen every day? This of course was in 2017.

I’m not sure what the current stats are which is irrelevant as the point is the source was a blatant lie.

Worse, if one person is sleeping in the windy rainy cold doorway with little more than a piece of cardboard to keep them from the cold ground, that in itself is absolutely wrong. That 80 or so people are doing similar and the official stat was a lie, is no less absolutely wrong and neither one nor 80 mean the debate is to be skipped trolled or ruined because it’s somehow ok.

In the past two years, numerous homeless people whom I personally know and were friends with, have lost their lives due to being homeless. Granted, there is more indepth “stuff” to their stories but had they not been homeless, they would not be dead.

Now back to the stat I shared. Not created, shared.

I echoed that early 2018, 44 lives were lost to suicide connected to gambling, in 6 weeks and provided a link to that source. Geezawin commented on it from a heartfelt point of view.

That link seems to have been removed. I have since been accused of not providing source. That source was an established newspaper website and sighted politicians as making that statement.

One member tried to command that the only credible source for gambling suicide is a coroner and that only (sic) 20 were recorded in 15 years, I think the numbers were. Coroners are tasked with cause of death, not reason for it. ‘mile in my shoes’ – Yes, if they have the knowledge at the time a report is created, they will undoubtedly add that detail but is it fair to say that may not always be the case ? I think so, given the stats I shared.

So to be totally clear, officials can and do lie and there is room for a debate on what is credible as acceptable source.

What is a fully credible source ?

Someone who claims their fact or facts to be true ?
Someone who holds some sort of officialdom therefore cannot tell lies ?

The casino industry employee would never lie ?
The player would never lie ?
The government would never lie ?

I want to wish you positive vibes but generally in the industry a crash works in the companies favour. It happens all the time from what I can see and have not see anyone say a crash went in their favour but this is not to say it doesn’t happen. However, to make matters a little worse, BV earned rogue affiliate program – awarded by casinomeister for underhanded contract change on their affiliates and then ousting affiliates for breaching their agreement.

And to be fair, that sounds like a massive win. Sorry i can’t bring you better vibes on the matter. Yet another way the industry can shit on people.

As you know I have deliberately resorted to insults and it worked like a charm. Those people who start with insults then called me a hypocrite so it just needs you or indeed Mr B to reinforce it.

The ability to throw debates off course with insults is equally messy.

That he wants you to accept less than he charged to build it is terrible in comparison to what I reckon you paid in full. I could sit here and explain how to take it all apart which is quite easy if you’ve done it a few times but of course, spooky if you have never done it and it is possible to damage things. So yea, sell it as a whole.

Don’t go to that guy to build anything again. He doesn’t deserve your custom or money. I can accept lowballing but that’s a blatant con.

However, I suspect your graphics card is built in to the motherboard. Which begs me to ask what you paid for it.

Use facebook ? put it on facebook market and share it with your friends. Gumtree and stuff have scammers who troll for sales. Have a look on ebay for ryzen pc and click auction then set by ending soonest to give a best reflection on what people are willing to pay.

Been building pcs since pentium 1 1993/94 and while I’m not god of builds, I am an honest builder in an industry of utter scammers. If I were a **** I’d give you £120 for it. It’s easily worth more than treble that as a working pc.

@seedy, can I ask why you locked the thread please. I’d like to know if the ‘more should be done by the industry for problem gamblers’ aspect is ok to restart however think it will need some support to stop people resorting to insults or trying to derail the debate.

Sell it as parts baneq99. Worth more. 16GB of ram o buy brand new, even if its ddr3 is worth about £30 as one stick. I’m guessing yours is 2×8 or 4×4 but then you don’t lose much. However, your video card is probably worth than offer you’ve had.
