Outside of the forum it has been an eventful non-event. Been trying to help someone down on their luck but they are too proud to take the help. Some lengthy messages and phonecalls later and they accept the help. They are literally down to almost nothing to get them thru til weekend and then changed their mind and said no thanks.

So I said ok and left them to it for them to eventually contact me back when nothing much can be done for them and they are asking me how they are gonna survive so I start all over again for them to again agree to get some help which is a relief again to me and then they simply stop talking to me.

I now hope they have fallen asleep and things resume in the morning. As far as I can tell, this is nothing to do with gambling, just their weekly struggle to survive.

I really don’t like being concerned about someone who does this but I realise they have issues and I can only do so much so whatever happens, I tried.

I was involved in a huge tescos end of day donation for the homeless yesterday. It’s really good to see but hard to watch when some homeless people are reluctant to take help and have to be coaxed into it while drug addicts just try to ravish the help there to support their hunger caused by drug addictions. Still, I don’t blame them entirely, thats what the profitable drug world is ignorant to. On top of that, many of them have serious mental health issues and other deep issues, be it family or otherwise related. The hard part is when all the supplies are ravished and the shy pride filled needy eventually do cave in and accept help, there’s nothing left.

It’s not as easy as saying no. Every day all over the country frustrations somewhere turn nasty or violent because some people can’t see beyond their own needs which is not great for those who volunteer to help.

It’s a tough old and sometimes complex world out there. Really humbles me when people want to help make it a better place.

    That’s harsh but funny

I don’t think it’s harsh at all. I’m trying to influence anyone to become the serial bank holiday killer. All bank holidays should be executed and then killed. No remorse.

The physics may mean the wheel is at best, poorly built if made by computer. That is assuming the pins are perfectly round. At best the flexible piece can only give back the energy stored in it.  Terrible game as least at times. Very easy for it to go 40-50 spins without landing and paying 10x.

Possibly rigged. Not exactly rocket science to rig it.

NCIS – top of the list for me
Walking Dead – brilliant although I haven’t watched this season at all
Lost (only just watched this and it was good)
Big Bang Theory – in it’s last season now
Bull – very good especially if you enjoyed Dinozzo from NCIS

Persons of Interest was brilliant but they cancelled it.

A difficult thing to do is watch Chicago fire, pd and med. With all the crossovers, it get’s confusing if yo don’t do it all from the start on the same timeline.

If you have youtube premium, they have some “originals” just type in ‘series’ on their search. Most seem to be in their first season though although some great productions so far.

    Brain hasn’t woken up yet.

i won’t go into why but I traveled the planet for 8 months in pain before I finally got the appt to have the wisdom tooth out. It wasn’t constant pain but random spurts of sheer agony. In the end it was removed by an old school friend at the hospital. 8 months of somewhat hell. At that point my friend could have thrown an xray machine out the window tied to it for all I cared. I did have to go to a&e one night when the pain got excruciatingly bad. I waited 3 hours to get a quick bit of gel rubbed around my gum which did instant wonders, cost me silly money in nhs parking and had worn off by the time I got home.

The dentist world seems to be broken.

@thatfamousjimmy can you imagine going into argos to buy a toaster. making the purchase, waiting for the item for a manager to come over and say “you paid with your wifes debit card, you’re not getting the toaster or a refund.”

I don’t think under any circumstances a casino should refund a player because they’ve spent too much. Why? Because actually, I’m absolutely certain that this would only encourage irresponsible gambling. Think about it… if you’re considering whether to deposit your last remaining funds after a tilt session, and then you realise that if you do, and can’t afford food, the casino would just bail you out, why wouldn’t you do it? It’s a no risk situation for you.

I can understand your point about a ban following that so that you basically have only one chance at this, but there are both downsides and workarounds to that also. I just don’t think that is anywhere close to a good solution.

That being said, it’s a suggestion, so don’t think I’m just here to shoot you down, I’m not, I just have quite a strong opinion on that particular statement on this topic.

I know you didn’t leave anything out but you attacked the two issues separately, not combined. I didn’t suggest doing one without the other at that point. The two would be hardwired ie one can’t happen without the other being guaranteed to happen.

That’s why I ignored the whole shoot you down thing. You shot it down by breaking the two events apart. One cannot happen without the other, in the suggestion. If you want to pick it apart, do so knowing that.

I have no interest at playing at casumo. If you’d like a detailed set of reasons why, you can purchase them. therefore I have no interest in baited stats.

there you go. How’s that for an answer?

shows that you have zero respect for bandit, the member you said it to and yourself. yet you wanna call me a hypocrite when I DELIBERATELY gave people the chance to call me a hypocrite. IE to prove a point.

eightblack. i tried man but you are too far gone. not redeemable. you fucked up and got so pig headed you couldn’t admit it. then you crossed the line. Someone pointed out that you also threatened me. But what was more important is the core of that thread you fucked up on. It was about gambling suicide but you made it into me blaming the CS which never actually happened. I don’t know if you did it on purpose or not. I’d like to think you made a mistake but I have come to accept another set of things is happening on this forum, aside from misconstrued posts and uncontrollable abuse. I wish you well but if you are gonna keep trolling my posts that have fuckall to do with you, then I will carry on reacting how I please. None of which changes the fact that you fucked up. And then you crossed the line.

I must say though, you pair are making quite the team. I haven’t seen pitiful shit like this since I caught MSN employees posting racist posts as fake normal users to drive people mad and turn over adverts for profits which ended with their bosses sacking them and shutting down the whole of Msn forums. but before that happened, they breached data protection and called me pretending to be metropolitan police.

trust me when i tell you, what you have done so far, is fuckall in the grand scheme of things. However..

rbreen, you broke the rules. you have no respect for bandit, members or yourself.

eightblack, you fucked up. you got my real name because I left bread crumbs.

feel free to reply. I doubt I will read it. I know I won’t reply. if you think two repugnant pricks on a forum phase me, you really are a full set of sandwiches, plates, cutlery, something to drink , a blanket, a basket and a handful of napkins short of a picnic.

The question is simple rbreen. What makes you think it’s ok to jump on a members thread and reply to their opinion calling them a wanker ? It doesn’t matter that others agree or that others are afraid to tell you.

This is bandits forum, the rule is pretty clear. had you not done it among the other abusive posts you’ve made, this thread wouldn’t exist.

I have absolutely zero fucks to give for what you think of me. I revolve around a planet, not you.

I’m pretty sure you don’t treat the road like you treat this forum.

I’m glad you don’t gamble though, that’s a positive at least.

I was gambling yesterday. I dunno where you are getting your facts from. Let me guess. I lied ? I’m a hypocrite? surely you couldn’t be mistaken.

    oh dear.

back to this : What if I did just have an anxiety attack and what if I am not looking for pity ? Let’s see if you can think outside of your petty agenda.
