It actually causes me quite a dilemma come the next election. Boris or Corbyn… Even Kermit the Frog would be a more palatable option :(. I may just vote Green and save a few trees.
11Well as I’ve said before I don’t gamble, but am willing to wager £1 sterling that JB is going to be fired before the end of the coming week :). First post back and he’s already called someone a “lazy parasite”. I think my pound is safe :).
1Yeah… They are designed to make a profit. They are designed to extract as much money as possible. They are designed to tilt you.
Rigged is a word you could use but not in a conspiracy theory sense. They are ‘rigged’ against the player on average but it’s right there in black and white with the rtp.
Totally agree. All bookies / casino gambling is “rigged” and as if it wasn’t the bookies would go out of business. The odds you get by even spinning a roulette wheel are slightly in the favour of the house. That’s why I have never and will never gamble. I recognise that even though I may get lucky and hit a big win, over the long term I am definitely going to lose.
The Bandit’s Reel King play has made me think though. It’s possible, that if you have the funds, a “high roller” may be able to tilt the odds of certain slots in their favour. It seems to be an ultra risky strategy though and a bit early to say that Steve has found a long term winning strategy.
I never play, just watch streams and highlight vids. Always fast forward through these 🙂
1) Flamebusters
2) Millionaire multiways
3) Genie Jackpots – Damn music!
I would have collected, but I would also have collected the first one, so would have ended up in the same position. It’s the way he plays and so far it’s been a winning strategy.
Chaps just stop with all this drama, you’re worse than my ex-wife.
This is a gambling site and I want to see big wins and racing tips and all that jazz. I don’t even mind comments on streamers so long as it’s positive. This forum represents the Bandit’s brand and I can 100% guarantee that if you keep this shit up he will shut the place down.
2Chaps I seriously doubt his decision to spend less time on videos has anything to do with achieving subscription or soccer million targets. I’m a cynical bugger but he is obviously not out for the main chance here. Creating content is a huge time sink and comments like those above are more likely to push him into saying “fuck it” and just walking away.
The OP makes some semi-valid points, which would be totally valid apart from one thing. Every video Steve tells everyone not to be a knob-end and try to do the same thing. He usually repeats this several times during these suicidal missions, and we can all see how close he comes to total failure. If anyone is actually influence then that’s there lookout. None of us can take responsibility for the stupidity of others.
1If i win this twitter malarky please feel free to give the prize to a charity of your choice.
Seuzui this is a bit of a worrying post, although I too enjoy the Bandit’s vids of course especially the Reel King rides.
I’ve been watching his stuff now for ages and remember going back about a year ago that he was down on almost all sites. Not just a bit down but loads. Down so much that it would sink your average punter. The Reel King stuff has really turned things around for him but I understand that even though he appears to be bonkers he is playing with winnings. He has other betting activities and affiliation that I imagine have helped him survive the bad times, and turn out the much loved content. But building a balance like still takes luck.
Please don’t think that you can emulate this because you will almost certainly end up broke.
Thanks Malky.
I suspect you are right about not being able to lay the enhanced odds stuff. I did consider that after only two days of research, the betting shops probably know more than I do about their business :).
I’m going to take the plunge though, starting with coral. They do a good £5 and get £20 in bets. I can see how to get started, but am more unclear about how to keep making a monthly profit following the sign-up offers. I’m not greedy, am prepared to lay a good amount of Mug bets to stay off the radar, and do have spare time enough to put in the work.
Apart from a couple of spins on a pub fruit machine a few years ago, this will be the first I have ever “gambled” so am quite nervous about the whole business.
Any advice, particularly about how to keep the profits going after sign-ups would be very welcome.
Thanks 🙂
I’m fairly sure that the first three winners had been regular viewers/followers for at least 3 months before the event. It was a good event though and what impressed me was Alvin’s reaction to the third £1k bonus buy where the chap won absolutely nothing.
Most of us were disappointed, but he was genuinely totally gutted and gave away an additional £100 as a consolation prize to at least two people. Even though he obviously sees his streams as a business, and doesn’t disguise this, it does show that he cares and doesn’t just see viewers as potential income.
In the end it was his event and, to an extent, was free to make the rules. I’m sure he would have considered limiting it to regular viewers, but maybe that would have been too difficult to organise. He would have had to take all names from the chat and then filter them on how long they had been following. Probably not a 5 minute task and probably too difficult to do during a live stream.
People are always going to find something to bitch about. I mean look at how much shit Steve gets and I’m yet to see a valid moan.
Thanks for the replies chaps 🙂
A 500% bonus would tip the odds ever so slightly in the player’s favour. In fact with that sort of boost I may even think about giving it a go. It seems all you have to do is wear a cowboy hat and act like a pillock. I am certainly more than qualified to do that :).
I can see that with 4 bonuses a day, you would be able to play at daft levels, and does explain it. Not my cup of tea but it does seem to be very popular.
First up I hardly gamble. Losing a £1 in a slot machine brings me out in a cold sweat. But I do have an addictive personality and have to be careful how much I drink, not to get back on the fags and limit my time playing MMO games.
About 5 years ago I stopped playing World of Warcraft after pissing away 2 years of my life in a virtual reality. So I thought after such a long time away I would be safe going back. Bugger me was I wrong. It started okay, just a couple of hours a day, but slowly more and more time was being sunk into it. The misses started to get really pissy and I had to stop, again, and this time for good.
My advice to anyone would be not to cancel the Gamban. The risk is too great. You never find a broke bookie or casino. You may get a mega win that hooks you back in, but in the long run the swines always take it as the odds are always against you.
I have a great deal of fun watching slot streamers and love the Bandit’s channel. I have great deal of respect for his generosity and concern for fellow gamblers. I’m also in awe of his Reel King play. Balls of steel or what? But even he knows that just 2/3 of those bad sessions in a row could seriously dent all the tasty profits he has made so far. And let’s face it, there is only one Bandit 🙂
