He has reached this level gradually. Affiliate payouts would have gotten bigger and bigger in time as he gained more and more affiliates, and YouTube also pays quite well these days. Add that together and he’s likely earning 100k per month at the very least, probably more.
And tbh he deserves it, he’s a smart individual who has built up the best channel of its kind.
The game is horrible, Steve is going to absolutely hate it. They worked 3 years on this game lmao
What likely happened is that he completely forgot it was a 20p stake and saw the 400+ x win as 400 quid in his head and couldn’t figure out why he wasn’t “getting it”. He also didn’t understand he needed to let him fall further down for a possibility of a higher win.
He is so frustrating sometimes, doesn’t figure out the simplest most obvious things and plays them more than any of us. What’s baffling is that he is usually good at math. So really don’t get why he found it so confusing.
Hey Steve, could you give ROTTEN a bash with the bonus hunt featurespins feature? I find that the bonuses you get this way are better, even the smaller one can surprise you. Still a few duds in there of course, but I’ve gotten several huge hits on Rotten this way, try it out one time perhaps. Cheers!
Steve, since you’ve now finally discovered the Hacksaw Gaming bonushunt spins, can you please give PUG LIFE a bash? Underrated game imho with 2 nice bonuses. One starts when you get 3 wilds that always have random multipliers and the other when you get 3 doghouses. Both bonuses are nice and can pay, but I highly advise not buying them and just trying to land them with the bonushunt spins.
Cheers buddy!
whenever someone asks the question “should I martingale this” the answer is always no. Actually, hell no 😀
Fully expect this game to go from what we’ve seen in the bandit video to hitting the max once in 20 tries or something. (yes, applying the patch/hotfix theory I’ve described in another thread).
The RTP wouldn’t have to be spiked ultra high or anything like that. Even a small amount would make a considerable difference in how the game behaves. Also, say too many people win and casinos are down for the first few days, surely that would still make them highly profitable when the game gets hotfixed and players lose it all back and then some. Also take note that not all wins get withdrawn in the first place, all I see is a win-win for the casinos.
“surely they’d have to announce the RTP at loadup” yea they announce it but it’s a gaming software, how can you legally prove it’s not 96% or whatever they say it is? And just like PC games have bugs and need hotfixes and updates they can always claim “oops, was bugged, oops needed an update” that sort of thing. I’m not conspiratory by nature and I have no problem with being wrong, but was just describing my personal experience. And from what I gather, many have seen similar behavior happening so just think it’s interesting how often it appears to happen. And again, on SOME games, not all, not all the time. But just some good runs I can’t explain unless I won the lottery like 7 times in the past 5 years.
Having said that I do get the skepticism, I fully get where you’re coming from and am just sharing my experience and my opinion on the matter, I do not know anything for a fact.
On the last video A TON of people complained on Youtube that the video was boring, same old games and only feature buy after feature buy. So maybe he just got fed up with them and decided to take a break. I get how some people might get bored but the guy should be allowed to play what he wants and how he wants it without the moaning brigade being that vocal. Now you can maybe politely suggest other ways of play but when you see tens of comments of “ugh most boring video ever, skipped through all of it” “what happened to the bandit” x 100 I can understand how he can get in full CBA mood.
Here is my experience. Not saying this is the norm or anything, again, my experience. On SOME PROVIDERES, especially Pragmatic but not limited to, I have experienced the following scenario multiple times over the years:
1. A game is launched. It gets at least decent hype and a lot of streamers and casuals are playing it.
2. You go to the game and session it and you have a good chance of hitting some really nice bonuses. You feel the game is fair and while you can still go on a bad run, you can also go on a really good one.
3. I’ve had sessions on new-ish games on Pragmatic (and others) where I’ve had like 7-8-9 bonuses in a row that made a profit. Statistically this should be insanely hard to get but I’ve had it multiple times.
4. A few days later it’s all over. You hardly ever win on the game, not to mention having several bonuses in a row that are profitable. Forget about it.
5. Then a new game comes out, gets a bit of hype, rinse and repeat.
Now I know the arguments against this. “You got lucky”, “more people play it when it launches and in the first few weeks and then not as much”, “it’s random so unless you play with 15 bazillion days you can’t say”.
Well sure, but I can make observations. And after years of playing, I think I can draw some personal conclusions that are as follows:
– Some games especially when are launched and maybe a few days to a few weeks after launch will have the RTP spiked. Not non stop but in some periods of the day at the very least.
– This accomplishes the following: gets more big wins for streamers to show their viewers but also gets wins to casual players. They get hooked on the game and come back the next day betting even more money, losing it all back and then some.
I’ve had this exact scenario happen to me several times, but got wiser and now if I get an insanely mathematically questionable run on a slot I’ll keep buying bonuses until I have 2 in a row that fail, then I leave it. If I come back the next day I try a maximum of 2 and if they’re crap I am done with trying to session it.
And when I mean this exact scenario, to be specific, I’ve had 9-10 winning bonuses in a row on Dog House Megaways (left side) when it launched. How often do you win on that game now? Imagine the odds of getting 9 winning bonuses in a row. I was printing money. It was ridiculous. But then it got hotfixed.
I made a killing 2 nights in a row on Golden Fish Tank 2 when it came out. Printing money, then never again.
Back to Pragmatic, Wild West Gold, again, full session of profitable bonus after profitable bonus.
Isoftbet – had this happen with a less known game called Legend of Loki. Absolutely killed on it for 5 days straight, but I was more of a newbie then so ended up losing it all the following 5 days after it got nerfed to the ground.
And I could go on.
Conclusion: They either intentionally spike the games/have higher RTP the first few days or at certain hours at random to hook players in and then assure a steady stream of income from people buying tons of bonuses based on that initial success.
They DON’T do this on every game. Now it could be just that a new game isn’t well calibrated and until you have thousands of plays on it you may still need to adjust it with a hotfix but I am certain this happens to a degree. There’s no way you can get 8-9 winning bonuses in a row, it shouldn’t ever happen, it’s almost like picking one number on roulette and have it win 8 times in a row. No way.
Again, just my experience, don’t shoot the messenger.
1For the PROVIDERS ISSUE:
Try using CTRL+ Mouse Scroll Up/Down to increase/decrease the size of the page, it might help with scrolling through the game providers.
Note that you can activate TURBO or even SUPER TURBO on Hacksaw Gaming to get the superbonus spins going faster.
Hey Steve, could you give ITERO from Hacksaw Gaming a bash? Interesting game, had a few nice wins on it. Also, if you want to try Rotten again I highly advise instead of buying the bonus, just activate the x5 the stake for extra chance at getting it naturally, I find it comes in a respectable amount and the results feel better than when you buy it. For me at least.
Cheers!
Give Wild West Gold (the original one) a bash but do it like this:
– do 3 bonus buys in total
– first 2 bonus buys do it on a lower stake (I did it on 0.80p)
– then the 3rd one do it on a higher stake (I did it on £2)
Did this a few nights ago and the 3rd bonus was usually quite good. Probably ran into a good run of luck of course but did the whole sequence a few times and ended the night with a nice profit. Yea, surely got super lucky but idk, try it once and let’s see, who knows 🙂
Thanks for giving Fear the Dark another bash, was a decent bonus the 2nd one, but you got a bit unlucky as the multipliers were nice but it didn’t give a proper win with them else it would have gone off it’s head. Rolla had a mad one on it in one of his more recent videos. Thanks again!
