Hey Steve one suggestion on To The Moon.

Don’t buy the 6 scatter bonus. The 3 scatter bonuses have worked well for you in the past, and if it doesn’t pay, much better to not pay on a 3 scatter bonus buy than a 6. I know you might say it doesn’t matter in the end, you are getting more spins for the 6 scatters but it really feels like it just wastes the extra spins anyway. If it hits it will pay regardless, if it doesn’t better to save that extra money and stay with the 3 scatters just my 2 cents.

I guess it’s just a non sticky bonus which is nice to see. If they had converted the whole amount as bonus then he would be stuck and would have to finish wagering to withdraw anything. It may look like the casino gave him a good deal, and it was, but you have to consider the fact that much more often than not you’d go through your 2k quite quickly and into the bonus money where you get stuck having to wager it all.

What happened in the Bandit’s video is rare, to hit big right off the bat and obviously take the money and cancel the bonus. I’ve had these type of bonuses in the past and I’m sure many have (not 300% but 100% or 150%) and you go through your money and into the bonus money on 9 of 10 occasions.

Disappointed it’s cancelled but I understand and respect the decision. It sucks that some people have to ruin it for everyone but that’s just life I guess. Giving the money to a charity is a great idea in my opinion.

The stakes are fine as they are. Bandit is ultra entertaining regardless of the stakes he plays, and quite honestly, $2 is a pretty big stake in itself if you think about it, I personally rarely if ever reach that stake in my own play.

No mate I wish! I won $243 on a $13 bet. $10 bet in the middle, $1 on Perfect Pairs and $2 on 21+3. The 21+3 sidebet paid 100x so $200. Like I said earlier, the money isn’t THAT much, it’s the rarity of the hit that is amazing and how it was the very first hand as I had just sat down.

Here’s a screenshot where you can see exactly what each sidebets pays, so there’s no more confusion. I realize most people don’t play the sidebets and don’t know how they work or what they pay out. Usually you bet between 10%-20% of your main bet on the sidebets. You make the hand with your 2 cards and the dealer’s up card.

4000/1 chance that pays 100/1? Was a nice win but surely that’s just asking to get fisted taking them odds

The sidebets offer multiple ways of winning, not just by hitting suited trips. Of course, as with any gambling offer, the house has the edge, and mathematically speaking, you should probably not play the sidebets. Perfect basic strategy(without playing sidebets) lowers house edge to 51%, but sidebets make the game a lot more exciting.

Exactly, that’s why I felt the need to share it with you guys. The money isn’t really THAT much, it’s the amazing hit, how incredibly rare it is, and to get it on one hand played. Still can’t believe it. I regret not having the screen capture software on. The dealer’s reaction was priceless.

Haha get in there, glad to hear! I know what top 3 is, I sometimes play ‘All Bets Blackjack’ from Playtech 🙂

What really baffled me about it is that I literally only played the one hand. I had just sat down. As you can see in the screenshot, the dude at the table wasn’t happy. But he wouldn’t have had the perfect suited trips anyway.

Really amazing how random it can all be. I almost chose a different table too. And had the incredible inspiration to bet $2 on 21+3. Truly mental!

Sorry to hear that mate, what can I say, been there, done that. There are times in a gambler’s life where it seems that everything is going against you. I’ve had poker sessions playing ring games where I got it in ahead every single time and lost every single hand. I’ve gone weeks with bad beat after bad beat, lost accumulator after lost accumulator on one match where they score a goal in the 90+5th minute, and slots not paying squat for weeks in a row. And I’ve had weeks where absolutely everything worked, hit everything, made 2k-3k from $100 budget on slots, win every flip on poker and  it feels like you can’t possibly lose. But it’s this rollercoaster we love I guess. As always, try to set a fixed budget for this stuff, and if you’re having a bad week/month, do your best to try and not putting anything extra in. We still lose over the long run, especially on slots, but at least we can be more sensible about it 🙂
