How about some of the rainbow or genie games. Quite a few on there. Need a bit of old school.
the scum won then. tbh it basically ends any future draws like this. i think you need to change the way it is done. far too easy for the scum to do multiple entries.
how about a paid sub per year. it would cut out the greedy and stop the multiple entries. alternatively just do a yearly charity via a poll. that way no one expects anything during the year.
i can fully understand how genuine punters are peeved off. not with you but the scum trying to truly get something for nothing by cheating.
any anger should be directed at the cheaters and no one else.
they have cheated you bandit and cheated us.
the cheating scum have ruined it for the loyal fans.
your draws aren’t alone though. i know someone who runs comps for companies. they constantly get multiple entries from the same email/ip address. some use different names with the same email or slight variations of email and name. it happens on twitter and facebook too.
edit – just seen the twitter posts. no excuses for these clowns having a go at your family. i wonder if they are the ones who did the multiple entries. i guess the good thing is that their extended time in doing multiple entries has been totally wasted. i spent 5 seconds entering once.
i still think the draw should be done as before. i give to charity during the year. plenty would have entered in good faith. any change to that and the halfwits would have won. if one of the winners or the bandit choose to give their monies to charity then good on them.
where money/prizes are concerned everyone comes to life. i see facebook pages that get a couple of likes on a post. as soon as a comp is announced the post suddenly gets hundreds of likes and the page lots of new followers, the latter who disappear once the draw has been made.
14th of 15th lol. i’ll stick with who has served me well over the years. cheers for the effort anyway.
i had already bet 500 on little camacho at gowran park separately as a friend knows the trainer so i wasn’t changing that. i’ve put 20 on staxton out of curiosity. let’s hope it does better than silk cravat.
when i gambled not once did i get involved with bonuses. too many conditions attached. if i credited a hundred bunged it on number 10 and 3600 came in i wanted to be able to walk away. not have loads of terms flashed before me saying nothing could be cashed out. no thank you.
no one has a right to a bonus. if the bandit wins 5k on a reel king gamble other people will lose to make up for it.
just look at the photo uploads of ‘big winners’. to get to that stage there would have been losers before or losers after that win. even the photo uploads doesn’t tell you how much has been spent to get it either on that day or the proceeding hours,days,weeks.months.
there was a girl at GA who said she spent a grand on rainbow riches at a service station. she had used her boyfriends cards/her weekend holiday money. she went to get further cash out from the atm. boyfriend went to the bog. came back and someone had won a gamble to 500 on the same machine.
that is how it works…..
he needs to find a new way of hosting that 1. allows swearing 2. allows gambling. a lot of online video providers don’t allow one or both.
i think he should host the videos himself. there would be no further problems. the cost though be be prohibitive.
‘it scares me’
as it does me. i used to go to GA as an advisor. There was a guy there much the same as you. Different game, different casino. He at one point was 170k up in a matter of a couple of months. He wanted to pay off his mortgage, holiday for all the kids etc etc. He lost it over 4 days betting higher and higher playing 100 euros a spin. I will tell you how much he was down at the end, 134k. That’s a swing loss of 304k. He had remortgaged the house and maxed out all his cards. His father in law had also loaned him 40k under the impression it was for a business venture.
As for the guy, he split up with his wife as a result and is now living with his brother.
That is why it scares me for you. Sometimes Steve you have to just pull out and ‘quit whilst you are ahead’. Your story is scarily similar.
I wish you well.
4looks like you have had better success than the experiences i know of. it must be your quick wit bandit.
Yes you would think engineer comes, proves the win they pay up. I did ask the question what if the machine paid out more than it should ie until the hopper is emptied. The attitude was ‘we have cctv’.
Tip don’t go on a machine in a Whitbread pub.
Some of the old club machines where you could gamble a bit. These days I like topcat and wish upon a jackpot.
