@Kadyc137. So your recommendation to the OP is to begin a life of fraud and crime?
I would also suggest he take a walk through the streets of London in the rain and biting wind and tell the homeless men and ladies about his life of hell without a laptop and TV, I’m sure they will empathise 🙂
I’m not altogether sure that what the OP did was legal, it certainly put the casino in an untenable position. If he had lost his friend could have claimed his card was stolen and the OP could claim his account was hacked. Theoretically in a worst case scenario there was no win scenario in this for the casino, in which case it’s not gambling, it’s just trying it on 🙂
1@quazzi – maybe so, but any video which is purely out of context is there purely to influence sign ups. Posting a succession of 3 minute big win videos creates a perception to a newbie that this is the norm. The slots have to be viewed in the context of bandits one hour sessions, which show the level of expenditure required to actually sit it out for a big win
You can’t take the blame for other people’s actions, it is a personal choice they are making.
As long as people see both sides of the issue they can make up their own minds. If like some streamers (not bandit) you continually post short clips of big wins to encourage sign ups (nickslots) in the interests of affiliate income you are just promoting gambling and are pure scum in my personal opinion.
Not sure I know how that works although like you I skip Reel King purely because These days it always seems to end the same way with a balance recovery as a result of hitting the top.
Cant blame bandit for playing it as he always wins, but it bores the crap out of me as there is no surprise factor anymore, other than the scale of the win.
Tried the plenty of fish and sexual favours option but like most people on here didn’t read the terms and conditions.
How was I to know there was a satisfaction guaranteed or money back clause 🙂
NopeBandit, totally agree that you do show the bad side as well – however your apparently unlimited resources (£84,000 chasing the top) means that you frequently come out on the winning side and unfortunately most gamblers are optimists and focus on the win ether than the sums involved. By no means should you stop what you are doing, I’m just highlighting the impact it, and a huge page of big win pictures can have
But at the end of the day I guess it’s all personal responsibility and if people do lose big they have only themselves to blame.
1The problem is of course that because the bandit does do some generous stuff everyone assumes that people are begging when they post a hard luck story.
Many times this is far from the case, they are typing in desperation and aren’t even thinking straight, their mind is on the food they can’t afford or the rent they can’t afford.
Advice to the OP is sign up to gamstop and disassociate yourself from anything related to gambling. Watching videos of streamers winning big will not help you, not least that many of them are far more unscrupulous than the bandit. Gambling is a disease – stay away from places you can get infected and take up a different hobby If it is putting you into these straits – I’m sure Bandit would agree
I was amazed at the amount raised until I realised that £2k of it came from RocknRolla. Bottom line, £463 from a website with 10,000 plus subscribers getting free entertainment doesn’t seem a lot, works out at about 4p each
1You need to persevere with this GAMSTOP and quit the gambling – big wins are great, but they all go back in- and for everyone who gets one of the Big Win pics there are a hundred who get torn a new one which you never see. The only winners here will always be those involved in the industry. If it is getting you to the self harm point you need to block yourself and indeed disassociate yourself from anything in the gambling environment. Gambling is a disease, the guys on this website are all pretty good guys, but they are diseased and you don’t getvrid of an illnes by hanging around with a bunch of people who have it. Watching gambling videos, hearing about insane wins and checking out a succession of big win captures is not going to cure you
Long time watcher – great videos etc, but an honest view that after reading a number of posts over the last few weeks, including one 2 hours before this post, reference people having no money for food or rent because of gambling, and others considering suicide or having tried it, repeated posts about hitting the top continuously for insane amounts are not helpful and could be seen to promote the behaviours which are causing people to consider these actions. Love the Bandits work, seems a great guy and has made some good gestures, but sometimes his posts just seem to promote insane gambling. I know his last one has a warning about how much it cost – but the message which is now coming across quite frequently is that if you gamble big you will win big – that’s not case
Yep, that post accusing him of begging was a bit harsh, I didn’t get that impression from this guys post. My bit of advice would be to not touch pay day loans, at all. Get in touch with your energy suppliers/landlord etc and just explain that it’s been a hard month financially and try to set up some sort of plan to pay them back next month or in instalments.
Will admit that I never see the point of these posts asking for advice – it always comes down to ask your friends and family or speak to your landlord.
You soon run out of friends if you ask them for money to cover your gambling losses, most people are too embarrassed to speak to their family and as for asking your landlord, who is probably paying a mortgage on the property you are occupying, for time to pay as you spent your rent on online slots, I can only guess which way that conversation will go.
I would highly recommend not upping the bet to £1 or above as another poster suggested. With your deposit sizing, you will barely even last a minute on those stakes.
Stick to what you’re comfortable with – just because you’re at max hive, doesn’t mean it’s going to release the swarm any time soon. It can take an absolute age!
And @6220mjones is spot on – the base RTP does significantly reduce during max hive stage, as confirmed by one of the developers of the slot.
I couldn’t agree more with your post Biohazard. And to put it into perspective the chap recommended upping the stakes is the same one who posted a bit later that he was worried about being another fatal statistic as a result of gambling losses.
probably not a chap whose advice you would want to follow 🙂
