I played this on FREE play which was enough to see i was never gonna give it any real money.
Playtech slots are terrible in my experience, they just don’t pay. it may not be some people’s experience but I never touch them now.
Totally agree, the older games had tricks on then, hulk had a stake manipulation issue but thats long gone.
If you collect enough data they play just like a compensated slot…… For all players to post the same results dont seem random to me no one hits big without putting shed loads in first! Coincidence? who knows….
As others have said this is a dangerous game and your only ever likely to have a big hit early if you dont you will be toast, I would strongly recommend the average player give this game a miss TBH. This game is gonna sting a lot of players!
I don’t play these type of “progressive” games they are all designed to get you to a point of no return, be careful peeps.
Come on guys, get real its bound to be harder to retrigger, all that extra potential has to be paid for somewhere!
Only managed 1 retrigger so far myself but was only low rolling at the time and got 255x bet which was ok Think it could be a while before we see a 3+ retrigger tho lets face it its got potential to be as brutal as magic mirror and we all know what that can be like, i not even retriggered that yet ever 🙁
As an example game that I get my most complaints about and that seems something is iffy on the pick me bonus is NETENTS scruffy duck.
only 5 to pick from, and shows you the picks after so should be genuine, yet how hard is it to get the “double feature” ? I have had people say they have had in excess of 50 features without getting it which is starting to be a bit suspect mathematically.
One player also told me they had picked the same one 35 times and never was double feature so come to your own conclusions on that I guess..
Well im not saying there is games out there now, Im just saying there is more than one way to skin a cat ( in this case a player ) and still sticking to the rules. Unfortunately there are many legal tricks like this in slot providers manual to skew games, as long as they hit the RTP long term, which they will its all compliant well was at last time we used it.
Providing the items are not moved when the player makes their selection to a better or worse pick, its perfectly legal for it to put the picks in a set pattern or randomly before the player has picked.
The reason for this is that a player could use it to there advantage as well, by systematically picking the same until a good win is awarded.
On the few games we did it on it was a way of compensating a game that was primarily random.
The way some games play it wouldn’t surprise me in the least that its still going on to be honest, not mentioning any providers of course.
I have to admit on my SIM site it is one of the most asked questions “are the bonus amounts really random” and my answer for those is YES 100% on my slot/PC games.
As for your strict RTP regulation comment, that is also not what it seems, as they only have to prove it in the way of a Simulation these days rather than mathematical proof it can achieve the RTP its designed at. When your talking of billions of plays the average player is never going to play anywhere close to that so could in theory never get to the expected RTP.
If I worked for the UKGC commission there would be far more regulation that actually protects players instead of the current regulations that just give an illusion of it.
Picking games are predetermined, they have to be to obey the rules of the RNG as set out by the Gambling commission.
It doesn’t matter what you pick, it is already decided. The fact that they show you what you could have picked is sailing very close to the legal wind as it suggests you could have made a better losing decision, but this is not the case. I believe these slots could actually be banned/forced to be modified by the Gambling commission if people complained enough. They are deceptive and mislead the player. IMO the question is asked often enough in gambling circles to constitute a “reasonable” misunderstanding of how they work. At the very least slots should be clearer about the fact that the picks are predetermined.
It is easy to see for yourself if you download a program like fiddler and examine the incoming json payload to the slot which in the majority of slots is unencrypted. It clearly identifies the picks you will make before you click any buttons. If the picks are also monetary amounts the total will also be in the data.
This works slightly different in bonuses with free spins. Each spin is random as it must be so the total win amount is not predetermined.
So in secret of the stones for example, the picks are predetermined but the outcome of the free spins is not. These are individual random spins based on the modifiers.Hope this helps
You are incorrect and correct.
It depends on the game, however as some have already said if your shown at the end it generally means it was a true pick if not it was pre determined.
I have worked on slots as well as SIMs, and once before we even did one that learnt player behavior and it adjusted the picks before the first pick to try and guess where the player would pick, eg if they pick the same each time etc. As long as its done before the player picks its totally allowed, or it used to be not sure now with all the new rules lol
