If your friend is a genuine anorak and interested in digging into data sets he will surely have the data showing a minimum sample size to draw any conclusions from. A sample size of anything less than 6 figures when the rtp is based over 8 or 9 digits isn’t even worth looking at as the SD or VD will just be too high.

 

nb I wasn’t a gto player or even very good I just spotted patterns easily and worked hard. I haven’t played seriously for over 15 years but when I did play I played to win and stuck to rules I made myself and later had others playing to my rules. I found it quite easy to win because back then players just enjoyed playing and didn’t seem to be too interested in winning – when players got better and it stopped being easy to win I didn’t play anymore.
I did work with hand histories from 100 plus players to decide how I should play certain spots and learn patterns- unless a pattern showed a profit over xmillion hands it would not be included in any system we played by… this is why I keep saying sample size is everything

im not a fanboy of steve I have worked over the years in data analysis (manipulation) and for gaming companies. I know more about the super user account in poker than you would think seeing as I was a sponsored pro at the time that scandal broke. I played for many years online when it was easy to make a good living and had even close friends saying I must have rigged accounts because I won multiple World Series seats every year and won sats to pretty much every big tourney all over the world – people really did believe it had to be fixed because I keep winning.

why would any site chose me or steve or anyone else to have god mode ? What is the benefit to them ? I actually prefer watching the videos where steve does his bollocks as you can hear the tone in his voice – it hurts. That’s what makes a real streamer and not a fake one, when he loses you can hear his pain and as a lifelong gambler myself the highs aren’t so high unless you have the lows. The second best thing to hitting a massive win as a gambler is being stuck huge and getting out , that’s almost as good as the mega win to start.

question for you – if an rtp on wild unicorns is 187% and you class that as being within standard deviation how can an rtp of 107% on a tiny sample size not fall within standard deviation or expected value?
If you look at a sample size of 1million bonus buys I would expect the rtp to be +-5% the stated rtp but using the laws of large number sets on a sample size <50k the deviation would lead to an expected deviation of +-20/25%

I still have my old stats from 40 tabling poker online where some months I ran 100k behind expected value and some month I ran 100k above expected value – sometimes you run well and sometimes you don’t. To get a true picture of if steve is running well you need to look at all bets made especially on compensated games – maybe he’s running well on bonus buys but running twice as bad on naturally landed features ?

Rtp is based over millions (meant to be infinite) of spins and you are looking at a sample size of low four digits. Not just a small sample size – a ridiculously low sample size.

data sets can be used/ manipulated to prove disprove whatever you want if you aren’t using complete data and choosing which bits of data you want to look at.

you even stated in one of your own comments that the results on wild unicorn fell well within standard deviation for that sample size.

you are clearly trying to infer steve has gone to the dark side and is now getting the golden button treatment from the casino for doing so and are using selected data to prove this …why?

If you want a true figure of how he is doing it’s simple as pretty much all business is – how much have you put in and how much have you took out? Net p+l

Ask us to like your video instead of just asking for subs – you start getting thousands of likes on each video you will then show up higher organically to people who watch other streamers or similar content… net result you have more new people watching and subbing

I gamstopped in January and set up a stocks and shares isa instead. Had great fun buying and selling shares without knowing too much.,

Have most of my money in a comany called Synairgen at the minute which I got in early June at around 40p. A mate tipped it to me so I read up on it and thought yep thats worth a shout. They are currently sat at around 200p and awaiting emergency approval and FDA approval on their Covid treatment which has already had the best results in the world at phase 1 and phase 2 trials. They announced Wednesday this week it being rolled out in hospitals in 20 European Countries and is just waiting on the nod for the USA. Its not been on the news or anything over here because the Government advisors dont have any shares in it unlike the ones they keep ramming down our throats that have already been proved not to work.

Plenty research and evidence out there so please do your own research before getting involved. I’ve just bought more at 2 quid because when this does prove to be the treatment and help prevent covid it could be worth anything (I will be selling half of mine at 20quid and the other half I wont sell until 50)….

 

In a way its still gambling of course but you still get the rush of a feature without the risk of doing everything in if you spread around over a few shares.

why not go for a spreadsheet with what each bonus has paid and the average you need to hit to break even. Buy yourself a hat and a webcam and maybe do some little dances for us whenever you get a big hit. Dance for me monkey dance.

 

Stop listening to all of us including me and just do whatever you fancy doing. If you enjoy it we will enjoy it. If you do what other streamers do or try to please us all we may as well be watching them/ the vids wont be bandit vids.

If i do few and far between videos at mad stakes i get moaned at, if i do daily content, i get moaned at, if its £2-£3 i get moaned at and if its £10 i get moaned at. But then, for all of those different approaches, it is also the best video someone has seen and plenty of people love it. What do you do there lol?!

To be honest I thought all your best videos where ones you made not trying to please anyone. The ones you were doing what you wanted and enjoying your play and it comes through in the video.

The minute you start trying to please everyone (or anyone) is when it becomes a job. I am not even asking you to try to please me – just enjoy what your doing again.

Did you actually enjoy doing the bonus hunt? Can you imagine doing one of those every day? How long before it gets boring to you (and that will come across as boring to us)?

The Sunday vids are the ones you built your following on and it doesn’t have to be mega high stakes. I felt involved with you when you got stuck or even when you won right off the bat. When you said at the start of the video I am going to stick to small stakes today I used to think but will he… sometimes you did, sometimes you didn’t and it made no difference the videos were always still great to watch.

 

I was not having a pop at you as I watch whatever you put out there. It just didn’t feel like even you were enjoying it and I don’t want you to turn into a content for the sake of it monkey (there are enough of them out there already). Check the stats on how many of your old vids still get viewed? While you have been away for the last few weeks they have racked up 100s of thousands of views.

I’m not bothered if he plays the £40 spins and don’t get a kick out of him doing 100 large.

I’ve spent the last few months rewatching a lot of his old stuff which was 80p or £1 spins and loved them just as much as the reel king sessions. He was “involved” on a session and got excited when he hit a bonus or a win. I can’t imagine him ever screaming the gaff down in a bonus hunt because he is just moving onto the next bonus. There will be no venom in his voice at the sliding past bitch or the scatter blocking fuck because he knows he has another 25 bonuses coming straight up.

If he chases a bonus for 400 spins or gets one after 5 presses you can tell in his voice as the bonus plays. Turning up to just press bonus….bonus…bonus must be quite boring for Steve as well. We all play for bonuses but part of the fun is trying to get them and getting stuck/ unstuck as we do so. Deciding at the start of the session I am going to do 5k and collect as many as I can gets your money back most of time, sometimes a small loss. There isn’t any real risk and Steve for me is a man who enjoys the risk (or at least you can tell with his voice if he is feeling alive). For me I think he will get bored very quick of these hunts- fuck all us viewers the key thing is if he is enjoying it because if he isn’t then whats the point.

Bonus buys are for the entertainers. Gamblers want the roller coaster…doesn’t have to always be the Big One- smaller roller coasters can be fun as well.

Difference between a degen gambler and the ordinary man on the streety-

If I offered you 2-1 on a coin toss 50 times but you could bet a maximum of £1k  or I offered you 2-1 on one flip of the coin for 50k which do you think Steve would take?  Ev wise you would be better taking the 50 flips as you are almost guaranteed to win but do you think Steve would take the chance for the big/max payout?
