That’s a tough one because your truth is purely subjective. As in it’s true for you.

An objective truth is true for all people at all times.

So your truth is a subjective one because you have no facts to offer to substantiate it.

It’s certainly irritating when you’re on a losing run and streamers constantly win, but given that nobody can give me any proof of a conspiracy, I will presume the opposite.

The burden of proof lies with the person trying to prove something. There is no burden on me to disprove foul play by casinos.

But on a personal level, it certainly sparks jealously in me when streamers win big and I don’t!

The restart issue was fixed for my S8 android phone with their recent update.

If the phone resets gamban loads up, logged in within about 30 seconds. Strange that you still have that issue.

I agree with what you’re saying, mostly!

I guess if you have an addiction to gambling, a true addiction, it’s obviously hard to stop. But for the majority, I agree. You need to have some control!

On the help front, it’s amazing that we are a here to support each other. The worst thing I did was not to ask for help, I ended up in a much worse situation. But you are right, it must be for serious issues, not just because you’ve let your spending get away from you.

So let’s try and focus on the positives, the fact that all of us are here to support each other, and that is amazing.

So a few things.

 

1. Stepchange allow x amount of missed or reduced payments per year. Give them a call. They will sort it out.

2. It’s likely that a lot of your accounts will sell on the debt collection agencies. Mine did. Nothing changes. You pay the same amount and crack on.

3. Talk to someone. It helps. 🙂

After talking to them and explaining i was fine etc my account was reopened and i plodded on. £5k more, £5k more and £5k more had me at £38,000 in and knocking on the door of my self imposed limit in my own head of £40,000. Had i have lost that figure, i would have taken the remaining £34,000 of profit from this crazy ride and taken the mrs out tomorrow and sorted her new car.

However, with £2k of the £38,000 left…. I got to the end of that naughty little golden road –

As you can see, pretty much £2k exactly left and a £25,600 top so still quite heavily down – I either take the loss at this point or i drop the stake and go for another one, well i can’t drop it too much so i go down to £30 – a few thousand pounds pass for not a lot but then smash…..

With the balance sat at £21,950 and on £30 stake, this heavenly glory road arrives and smashes through for the top…. that’s it, my heads rolled off and i’ve gone bonkers!

There have already been a couple of comments about the video that aren’t so nice but my opinion is, after me telling everyone where this thread is, what it is called and how to find it, anyone that has not read it, simply cannot comment – you need the context behind the play to appreciate and understand what i have strived for and achieved here. Once again though, just as i did last time i had a big big depositing session, my next go on this game will be right down on £1.60/£2 again so i can chill the fuck out.

I’m out of here – bored to fuck with this guy continually showing how he consistently wins – he is to responsible gambling what Adolf Hitler was to world peace.   I know he has to ensure he gets his affiliate income, but consistently showing that he was down but by gambling big has made a profit does nothing to encourage people to show restraint, exactly the opposite.

How many stories of homelessness, attempted suicides and poverty caused by gambling excessively is it going to take for this guy to realise that what he is doing is irresponsible.

I know this post will get shit – the Bandit doesnt like criticism and gets very shirty with it and all of his groupies will be right on my arse – but fuck it, it had to be said.

Surely The Bandit is the very example of the thing you say he is not!?

You’re saying that his gambling is in essence ‘irresponsible’ but it’s been discussed, documented and proved that he is spending what he can afford. Fundamentally that is responsible gambling. Not to mention the access provided to Gamban and the like.

The size of the stake itself does not mean the gambling is irresponsible. A ten pence spin if you’re unemployed is irresponsible. It’s all about affordability.

Admittedly Bandit does dig himself out of a lot of holes, but good on him! Plenty of explanation and we’ve all seen the bad runs he has been on.

If you struggle with his winning then leaving is probably for the best!

Similar thing appears to have happened to me.

I’m using an S8 and it definitely confirmed my entry but I’m struggling to find my name.

Not a massive issue though. Unlikely to be drawn anyway!
