Do you like any others from this era?
A machine that excited me when I was growing up JPM Steppa Nudge (System80). That gamble!!
Used to love JPM Double Up Deluxe…
Might be difficult to find a JPM Reel Crazy, especially from a collector.
I’ve played the machine loads back in the day but it wasn’t a personal favourite, My proper gambling days started by playing the early 2p machines, BWB’s, PCP’s, then onto the 20p £4/£4.80 token machines, 777 Heaven, Cloud 999, some decent money to be made back in the day just by playing these lo-tech machines, they were everywhere, had decent streaks and easy tells if you knew what to look out for.
We would mainly travel down to Skegness/Ingoldmells and Chapel in the early to mid 90’s. So much to play, basically 3 separate little resorts within a few miles of each other.

1I played extensively from mid 80’s to late 1990’s. My favourite era of machines were from the £4.80/£6.00 token days.
Living on a seaside resort we used to get a load of the current tricks, some of my favourite machines are
BWB’s – Monte/Reno/Gold Rush, Miami
Ace Coin’s – Open the Box, Pound for Pound, Hi-flyer, Pay Rise etc..
Project Coin’s – Bullseye, Happy Days, The RollFor me, this was the golden era of fruit machines.

2How about 10 randomly chosen members. Each has a 20p stake feature on a high variance BTG, the lowest paying feature wins.

I’ve seen a couple of streamers playing it and it looks nice but I’m not sure where the potential is. I haven’t seen any really decent wins in the base game and the feature seems hard work to obtain. It wouldn’t even say it was a decent grinding machine, literally all levels seem to play flat. Is this machine meant to be high variance?
It’s early days but I wonder if they will tweak the gameplay because it just seems boring overall.
Loving the vids mate. I watch your videos all the time, really enjoy them. Reel King is not a favourite of mine personally, from watching your vids of the machine it seems to play more like a progressive slot at times, like you can almost force the ladder out by gambling everything. Well it seems like that at the moment for you at least. 🙂
It’s rare that I play online at the minute, in the past I’ve enjoyed high variance machines. A favourite of mine is BTG Donuts, I think it’s one of the best machines ever released. It can be pretty poor at times but it’s got to be one of the best machines to grind out a feature. I’ve only ever played it on lower stakes 20p/40p but it can pay a decent amount even on those stakes. Never did get the 50x donut on the feature though.
All the best
