Evening all, first post after being a long time Bandit fan.
After watching this weeks video and huge loss I started to reflect how far I’m come with my gambling issues and identity a return to some habits I’d really like to stop…
HELP…
All online gambling has stopped (And I’d guess that’s been the case for 3-4 years. I’ve self excluded from my local home and work bookies.
But, I live in a sea-side town. Which means there are lots of arcades which have a huge selection of £500 machines. These are all within 5/10 minute drive.
Can I self exclude from these? If different as these are huge sites and you can easily be inside for an hour before you even see staff… Any thoughts or experiences?
thanks Lee
I was addicted to fruit machines from age 12. Live in a seaside town with arcades. Once I got a good job and put all my wages in, in a few hours I decided it had to stop. I decided to only have £5 in my pocket when I went in so worst case and £5 down and after a while I got bored. The odd slip up but fruit machines I put £2 a week in when I go too pool and that’s it.
In the pubs you see people go mad …. I had a summer in a pub and constant “ pint of Stella and can I get the change in quids “ a £2.50 beer was costing £10 because it all hit the machine …. and when they introduced the note acceptor thing …. well fuck me …… probably the worst thing ever … government should had a look at that …….yeah I know you can still get change and all that, but pubs only carry a certain amount of change so at least there was a break in playing whilst you were getting change or stopping you play Because they didn’t have change to give…..I’m sure many a fruity gambler should be slightly better off had the machines not been able to accept notes ……
I believe you can… but it’s more of a talk to manager and stick your pick up in the change booth and if they spot you, you’re out …… but I think knowing they are watching out for you is a deterrent for you as well …….people do it with pubs and alcoholics and casino/ arcade owners aren’t blind to the issues form their businesses ….
To be fair Xbob i dont know anything about him. I saw him once, he has vlogging from SIGMA, the gaming show in Malta. Looked like a proper belend in a hat in 35 degree heat, with a wasicoat and some long shawl thing. Half thought he was Cher.
All i know is he gets some serious deposit offers with max cashouts. I dont know specifics.
Thought it was Cher …. beer out of nose moment
you can see when he presses practice he see the balance and bolts ..and won’t press another “ practice “button and just highlights it ………( tho its weird, if you practice in casumo the balance changes per game .l is he playing of a modded casino site,) … in the comments of the video some are suggesting he did hit the real play button …. but you need to be squinting really badly through a milk bottle to see it
I was speaking to Push Gaming last week and was given their game info for the last 6 months.
Wild swarm makes over 45% of their entire revenue. This is all their games combined and any other interests they have (tables etc). 45%. Thats unheard of for a single slot really.
Advice – If you are chasing the swarm on lower stakes this does work out to be, in the long run, a net loss. The base game RTP drops when the hive is full, so your wins will be weighted to be lower while the RTP is drawn into the bee collection.
You can build the hive on an stake and the game will pay at 96.x% RTP. So play it at 20p, play it at normal, whatever you prefer. But when its full you have to remember that if you raise the bet to £1, £2, £4 or higher the base will not pay well, but when the hive lands it will account for that drop in RTP.
So only chase this if you are fully aware this game can take thousands from you, same as any high variance slot, but know that unless you increase the stakes at the right time, you will be playing at negative EV.
Sorry man I know you explained, and others are agreeing – but I don’t understand and swarm is a game I play ……so are you saying build the swarm on 20p but If I raise the bet to a £1 the rtp drops because of the raise ? …….sorry man
Yeah sure … that makes sense, I was like “wait is this guy doing what I did on my first swarm and building up the levels on a higher bet because I didn’t know you could get to the same point on 20p ?”…. Perhaps I should play swarm like a normal slot and enjoy proper size bonusesI mean, don’t get me wrong, I play on 20p until I max the hive too, but solely because it can take thousands of spins, and the balance won’t always survive until the max hive on a normal bet. It’s not a strategy for me, I just find playing for the swarm is more fun than the normal base game stuff.
Yeah I agree … I do prefer the swarm with that hint of a box showing up …. tho swarms testing me recently …. I max on 20p and of the hundred spins there was like three left so I was like “ it’s only three I’ll let them go and start again on a £2 “ and on linebacker the last spin of 20p, a bee landed and swarm ……… was fucking livid ……. with myself …..
Seedy spider sense is tingling ……hey look at that js almost got us to page three
Ha “you’re js” are we …. are we all js …. silly sod it’s “ yours js “
As the video has been taken down I’ll explain.
Roshtein is in the middle of a bonus hunt and has about a £13k balance doing £20 spins. Someone in chat asks about “Practice Mode” which is where you are typically allocated £1000 of play money to experience the slot. So when the slot loads, your “real money” balance is replaced by the “play money” balance of £1000. If you start playing a different slot in play mode, your “play money balance” moves with you.
So Roshtein rather stupidly demonstrates the practice mode on some slot, and guess what… his balance doesn’t change. It still displays the £13k.
So there are two explanations. Either a software glitch or, far more likely, he is using play money.
Now I’ve watched hours of his streams. It always struck me as strange that he would start a game off-camera and then drag the loaded game into view later. He does it EVERY time and I thought it was just part of his slick presentation. Now I understand that this move is to prevent people from seeing him pressing the play mode button to start the game rather than real mode button. Crafty, and I have to say I was gullible enough to fall for it.
The casinos he promotes must be fully aware of this chicanery and I find it almost impossible to believe that this false representation is legal.
But he has a nice hat and tan !!!!!!!
Yep the blokes a muppet anyway. Full of shit. But he has a tank Haz, A TANK!!
Best be careful what i say then lol. You know there was a time where this thread would be on the 3rd page by now.
Remember our pal Jon Scholes? He’s currently found shouting at people on YouTube comments for Gabriel Slots (who seems to be winning the YouTube algorithm at the moment), obsessing about Bonanza (sounds like someone else that doesn’t it) and following conspiracy theory channels
Ha jay replied to you in the Gabrielslots feed …. silly twat still going on about the mail ………… honestly funniest shit ever
He does say this is his way of playing, remember your a guest in his house when you watch … which you have a choice about …and he always says that he builds up to those higher bets ….no matter what cost the spins are somebody going to complaine… if he spins a £1 the 10p players will say it’s wild …..you say he should play 2-5 pound bet, for you, you might say that’s ok but for others that could still be wild …. there isn’t a sensible price when gambling only what you can afford … and he says it multiple times in his vids, he has the balance to do it, ( he even puts the reel king vids separate because people don’t like him doing those high gambles ….)…
Treat it like any other slot bud – remember once you reach level 5 (max hive), you still need to land the swarm, which can take an absolute age!
@Seyahkram1977 – you can, but the RTP remains the same throughout, so playing it on a normal bet size is just the same as playing another slot on a normal bet size! It just means that you’re playing for the improved boxes and bonuses prior to max level.
Yeah sure … that makes sense, I was like “wait is this guy doing what I did on my first swarm and building up the levels on a higher bet because I didn’t know you could get to the same point on 20p ?”…. Perhaps I should play swarm like a normal slot and enjoy proper size bonuses
Same mate, I’ve binned the game ages ago ….. what I seem to get is a huge amount of cock blocking alteration bonus that shut down any kind of build up . Incision will never give wilds anymore , demolition happens a lot, they always seem one block away or high to connect…. but I feel I see a looooooooootttttttttt of alteration and it only changing 2-3 pieces ………..
