To the OP, the slot is fine and if anything a better option than a lot of other bonus buy slots. I gamble for 2 streaks, unless I get 4 or more scatters which invariably gives 15 spins. I will take anything more than 15. With 5 or 6 scatters I have got a min of 17 spins, which is more than enough to hit a big win. I have also had big wins from 12-13 spins on this slot. I must stop gambling though, ever since I took up matched betting this has been a drag on my profit, but in saying that over the last week I am £5k up playing £1 buyin stake on Wolf Legend.

Love this slot. It’s the best Blueprint have brought out so far.

Im £4k up on £900 worth of deposits over 2 casinos, buying bonuses over the last 5 days. I wouldn’t recommend it but to say the slot doesn’t pay well is perhaps a bit unfair, it’s a high volatile/variance slot like a lot of Blueprint/BTGs. You were just unlucky over a large sample size.

Needless to say, I have hit and run with these winnings.

I can see both sides of the fence here. UK AML (Anti Money Laundering regulations) are amongst the most onerous and complex in the world.

KYC requirements would be sufficient for most customers without the need for a selfie but look at it from Casumo’s perspective, if they have an external audit from the regulator and there are instances of fraud/money laundering exposed because they didn’t have sufficient processes in place to prevent this they could lose their UK license. Paddy Power was fined over £2m last year for not having sufficient AML and player protection failures.

When you go to any financial institution with a lot of money (Bank, IFA, Accountant etc etc), Source of Wealth is a very important part of client engagement. You need to prove you haven’t just robbed a bank, you are over 18 and you aren’t a fraudster. The difference with all of these professions, is they are required to go through these processes before you undertake any financial transactions.

Casinos don’t follow this rule, because the authorities have allowed them to accept deposits and if the punter loses, he/she can’t launder the money. It’s fundamentally wrong.

In saying that the UKGC has now insisted that, KYC checks are carried out on registration by Casinos. I am not aware of any implementation date, but it is coming.

For most people, AML/KYC checks will be satisfied on registration in future, but it is the casino’s duty to monitor players to ensure they are not gambling beyond their means and more importantly not using the proceeds of crime to make dirty money clean, by putting it through online casinos. Because of this, as a players profile builds they can expect in certain circumstances to provide additional proof of ID. The selfie with a passport is just one example.

Just out of interest can you clarify that.   I see a lot of these 100% or 200% bonuses, but you have to stake 40 times your bonus in most cases.  So even if you deposit £500, that still means you have to pump through £20k of wagering, with only £1K.  That doesn’t seem like a loss leader to me?,  Or am I mistaken?

There are 3 major matched betting sites in the UK, they all advertise the casinos that offer +ev signups or promotions. One, in particular, has a comprehensive list of casinos whose signups are +ev and what the value of that ev is assuming a stated bet size and slot rtp.

The owner of this site has also created an EV calculator with a database running into hundreds of slots with their rtps, so you can run a simulation to see if a sign up is worth doing. There also is a private facebook group where people who have lots of “friends” have bragged abot making tens of thousands and in the case of a few, hundreds of thousands. I personally know a prolific multi-accounter that has made £200k.

There is a reason why casinos have certain slots that are prohibited during wagering bonuses eg Bloodsuckers and that is because these slots either with a high rtp or high volatility put them at great risk of losing to the gambler.

With regards to your question about whether 40x wagering is +ev well again that depends on the slot selection, a 200% deposit makes a huge difference. If you look hard enough, there are casino signups with 20x wagering. Also, bookies like Corals offer VIP schemes where on qualification they will offer you great sports betting promotions and a weekly casino reload with 10x wagering. Matched betting takes you up to the level where you are staking the same as high rollers but not losing the same amounts because you are laying bets off on the exchanges to cream any particular promotion. The difficult thing is maintaining VIP status as they soon realise you know what you are doing.

I disagree with this. Recreational gamblers who like an occasional flutter won’t chuck thousands or in a lot of cases even hundreds into casinos. There is a bottom line where they are in control of their gambling.

Problem gamblers whilst no one can be for sure, in my opinion probably make up a large part of the affiliate income that streamers receive from the casinos.

I like the bandit and his content, I look at it as entertainment but I won’t click on any streamers link no matter how much I like them to do a signup. The only exception would be if the bonus terms were better than you get from the casino going direct which quite often they aren’t.

I’ve got literally a dozen shops near me and they are my bread and butter for DDHH. It’s a very misunderstood promotion, by laying your bet off you are giving yourself effective odds way over what you would get for double odds or even the 2 or more market.

Fred isn’t stupid though, this weekend he has ducked out of offering DDHH on the City vs Spuds game instead of offering a series of second rate games that no one will be interested in.

I am quite pally with my local manager in Freds, she thinks I am just a punter because these rarely come in and they take hundreds from me in bets each week, with little knowledge that my true risk is only a fraction of what I stake in the bookie.

Had a small advantage play win on Messi DDHH with Betfred yesterday. Back at Freds lay on Smarkets and quite often get great odds to smash the bookie. My biggest win was £2.4k on Kane a few years ago, a few months back when Aguero scored a hatrick I won £1.1k. The great thing about DDHH is the qualifying losses are no more than £20-£30 to quite often win several hundred.

I’ve been matched betting, in an indisciplined manner, for over 2 years now and I’m up around 70k. If I was completely disciplined about it I’m sure that could be well over 100k now

Matched betting isn’t as lucrative as it used to be. The real money is being made exploiting casino sign up bonuses, and the site for that is Profit Maximiser. I am up around £35k but now don’t make much being gubbed from all the major online bookmakers and a few casinos, even Casumo turned my trade away. I have been VIP on Corals and Ladbrokes but didn’t last long.

I used to be in a matched betting whatsapp group, all of them multi accounted and the top guys cleared £200k. I wouldn’t be surprised if some Profit Maximiser members cleared £1m if they multi-account on the right sites.

Thats the thing you can start on 17 spins with 5x and still hit huge. You will get binned but you will also get to see a lot more bonus features. Going for max spins/max multiplier is pushing it and as we saw can be painful.

People put slots on banned lists without having a decent sample size of play, if its a high variance slot it could pay below rtp for thousands of spins and hundreds of buyins.

Its a bit like saying I am going to fold aces at poker next time I get dealt them, because they lost the last 10 times I git them in pre against an undercard or marginal hand.

To buy £1k bonuses on Vikings, I would want to be a multi millionaire for it not to hurt and therefore having balls wouldnt  be an issue.

With regards to Gates, he’d probably pick the winner anyway with his sense of judgement.

Extra chilli is miles worse, it can really rip a balance very quickly. The fruity lads did £3k in less than half an hour on extra chilli. With all of these slots you just need to money manage a bit, and hope you get lucky.

I was fairly dubious about playing this slot after seeing quite a few different videos of mainly big fails….just like the awful Holy Diver. BTG are trying to recreate the thrill of DHV and are failing miserably. Danger has it all. Huge wins in the base and the bonus games that keeps us coming back and the only games that come close are all Blueprints using the Megaways license. Looks like another game to go on the banned list without even playing it. Only winners are Leovegas it seems.

I wont be playing it and agree BTG seem to have lost their way in their last few slot releases. Blueprint are on the megaway money imo, with Vikings Unleashed being a personal favourite. I gotta stop buying the bonuses though although the slot has been kind to me so far.

Somewhere within the bowels of the Casinos/Providers terms and conditions there will be a provision for this sort of glitch. If there isn’t, they need to fire their lawyers.

You can look at this in several different ways, but the only way you are really going to nail the casino is by hiring a lawyer yourself. And that could cost a lot of money, without giving a satisfactory outcome.

The blow was softened by that £16k win, you dont half know how to moan a win in though! Well played.

Really poor form of Videoslots to do this and not inform the players, I was doing a reload bonus last week and luckily cashed out.

I won’t be putting another penny of mine into this casino until I hear exactly what is happening. It’s a bit like imposing a tax on someone and not telling them about it. It is clear that Videoslots, is the first operator to mitigate a higher online casino tax of 21% in the UK by passing it onto the customer.
