How weird is this? I’m right handed but can only swing with a left handers grip. No control or power with the right way i should grip.
69 holes in one day was my record. Had many days driving up the 18th in the dark trying to feel where you’d hit it lol.
Only on a par 3 course, but i got a hole in one once. The very next hole i 4 putted from about 3 foot. lol.
Very interested in the bit where Bandit talked about being offered info for a price on how machines payed out etc. I’d seen loads of ads around offering info. I honestly thought it was all a scam, so im quite shocked to read these guys really were in the know.
Thanks for the feedback troops it makes interesting reading, general consensus suggests paranoia that the bookies will try any underhanded tricks to keep these fucking things as addictive as possible, I agree.. in fact I’m sure they are working on it as we speak, they should contact Big Time Gaming as they seem to be making a good job of influencing addiction. I think the UKGC is doing us Brits a service, the £2 limit and the Gamstop register helps those amongst us that need it (myself included), do we think that the UKGC should monitor how these machines are designed to be played after the £2 is introduced?, I doubt they will but the opinion of seasoned gamblers on this forum suggests that there is still grounds for concern.
im sure the bookies will find some way to exploit the restrictions.
some new games that can be played very quickly at £2 / spin
they will find some ways for people to do their bollocks in
im sure about that.
But do they even need to find something new? You can still lose hundreds and hundreds in no time at all on the slots at £2 a spin.
Maybe raise the jackpots to a grand.

The only games i play on more than £2 are the card games and even then i only play them for 5 or 10 mins, so it wont bother me at all when the new limit is imposed. Playing games with no features just bore me tbh. Little bit from last week playing Texas Hold Em on £5 stakes. Was couple of hundred up after just starting to play this game the day before just by winning £20 – 40 games. Anyway, tried it again and was £125 down without a single £10 win. Finally got on the winning part of the ladder and got all the way up to £125 with the next hand being for the £500 jackpot so i was happy i’d at least got my money back. Cards are drawn and with one card left to turn from the 5 ‘draw cards’ i’m hot fav to win holding a pair of 8’s. Last card to turn and the only the way i could lose was for an Ace to turn over and guess what turned over…grrrrr!!!!!!
I dont see the fun in playing for your own money. Bit like playing chess against yourself. But each to thier own eh! Buddylove has loads of em.
Popped in to William Hill for an hour. Quickly £30 up on low stakes slots and decided play Texas Hold Em on £5 stakes after being £200 up on that game and stake the previous 2 days. Wiped out that profit in the blink of an eye losing game after game after game. Even when I had 3 Kings to finally get on the board and win £10 and possibly get going, it hit me with a 2 and a 3 on the last 2 If for a straight which was the only way I could lose. Talk about fixed! Anyway, I swapped machines and games and got back £180 in no time before I had to leave and was unlucky not to end in profit. But sometimes a losing session can feel like a win and today was one of the them.
Megaway games like u mention are a great shout. The vikings game is brutal, border line genius as well, what makes that game so much better is the 27 max and 10 spin is something everyone WILL achieve if they stick at it, 25 gambles to get there, millionaire is 20 odd and its near impossible! Chilli is evil yet achievable! Very clever, also dangerous games!
It’s not in the Bookies so I can’t play it, but if I could I wouldn’t copy Bandits way and go for Max all the time -just to risky! Surely for most people going for a a goodish number of spins and multiplier is their best bet. I don’t mind losing but I want a decent run for my money and not be fucked off for absolutely nothing like you can be going for max on that game.
I only play in the Bookies and one of the most popular slots is Fishing Frenzy, and its probably second only to Eye Of Horus. I’ve been playing it for a few years now and never seen anyone hit the Jackpot on it on any stake. I’ve seen countless Jackpots on Horus on the £2 stake.Gordon
£20 in playing Cops and Robbers on 20p stakes. Only had about 15 mins to play and within a few mins hit Silver and then Gold pot for just over £700.
I’m judging this game purely on stake and it’s jackpot and it goes to a game in Wiilliam Hill shops and its called Bin It To Win It – 30p stake for £25 jackpot, 50p for £35 and £1 for £70 . Its a shame because it could be a popular game if the Jackpots were higher. Once you get a win and get onto tthe board {a square) you can land on the bonus and get things like Taxis, back 3 places, add again and you can stack them up and use them whenever you want. The one game which you can have some tactical control over which makes it fun to play. Sadly ruined by the ridiculous jackpots.
This being looked after and they get their money back because it draws people in to gamble etc.
If that’s the case, then surely it would be a no brainer for them to tip off Bandit to play £100 spins, let him hit the top and make an absolute fortune, thus attracting many, many more people to give it a go.
I’ve been on the top symbol with 14 spins left and got one poxy 3 symbol win. Once spent hours playing Fishing Frenzy and got one feature which paid 40 p. Both times in the same William Hill.
Good to see you did exactly the right thing with the money from what could be the biggest winning streak you’ll ever have. You pushed it right up to the time when you took the inevitable big hit then took your money and ran. Being a gambler, we all know it would have been so easy to made the common mistake of trying to chase that big loss, having more of them, and end up blowing it all in the blink of an eye. Well done! You played a blinder!
