Btw. I do wonder how the acrades are still in business these days? I remember the days when they booming with loads of people in them every day. Watch a video of someone gambling in them now and they’re almost empty. Yes, Covid has an effect but i was noticing this before the lockdowns.
I’m not one of the Chip bashers, but i do wonder how he’s gone so quickly from low stakes with the occasional few hundred or so on high stakes, to almost daily high stakes sessions?
Most irritating is an American who goes by the name of SDGuy 1234…..yingadingding. yingadingding. ying….
That’s the gay guy who does land based in the US, yeah?
His issue isn’t that he’s entertaining, it’s that he’d deliberately obnoxious. He’s loud and swears a lot to draw attention to himself in a public place.
He’s a major dickhead, but in small doses bearable.
Similarly, Vegas Low Roller has a similar schtick, they carry on like an absolute fucking idiot for anything to get the clicks and upvotes.
I mean, I respect the hustle and in a YouTube world of Pew Die Pie where acting like a moron gets those views I understand why they do it.
But just KNOWING it’s deliberately disingenuous is why it’s a major turn off for me.
Similarly, you see the same thing with online streamers well. Some people are more alert to the ‘putting it on for upvotes’ crap than others, but generally we all get a feel for those who are genuine and those who are fake, either with the pretend casino $$ they spend or in their ridiculous, over the top reactions to their wins.
If you’re a gambler, you know the rush of a good hit and you know how you’re going to react to one (especially if you’re a regular)
When you watch / listen to some of these online and real life gamblers on similar wins… it’s total god damned cringe.
Yes, that’s the guy.

7 neighbours arcade/bingo hall vids are my current favs. Playing Himalayas on a 20p stake he gambled a 10p win all the way to get 100 spins. He went on to win about £250 from the spins and gambled the win for jackpot.
Purely by clicking onto one of those random vids that pop-up up on youtube, i’ve got into watching ex battery farm chickens being rescued and given a new home. Disgusting to see the state of them at the start but heartwarming to see them recover and flourish in their new homes. Now progressed into the whole building of coups & runs and the people who keep chickens. Just nice, relaxing viewing.
114th October 2020 at 1:48 pm in reply to: Breakdown of the Hot Streak (28/03/2020 – 15/04/2020) #104460Is anyone else thinking this winning streak turned into a losing streak hence no videos . Hope he hasn’t done his balls in wifey won’t like shopping at Lidl
After that amazing run he had more huge losses than wins. Have no idea how things have gone with the offline sessions tho, but he did say he wasn’t doing any high stakes for a while. After saying that i hoped there would be more regular lower stakes vids but that’s not happened so i do wonder why.
So long ago i can’t remember the game, bookies slots still paid out in coins and jackpots were 35 quid. Got several jackpots fairly quickly and about 150 up in about 10 mins. Had to leave so pressed collect but the machine wouldn’t pay out. Staff came over and said the machine had been left in demo mode so they refused to pay out. Not even a good customer relations offer of a tenner grrr.
Thanks for replying because I didn’t know about all the changes coming.
Imhio, seconds 25 between spins will be the beginning of the end for streaming gambling videos. It’ll become mind rottingly boring sitting there for hours and hours struggling to get a bonuses. I can see many streamers just packing up. I was in the bookies yesterday and went over 2 hours without a bonus so you can imagine how incredibly boring it was and that’s with regular spin speed.
Didn’t know he was banning people as I tend to skip fast forward his vids these days.
At the start of todays video Chip said tough times are ahead in making streaming work and he might have to scale down to survive. Probably means fewer vids, lower stakes and going ahead without Jordy, which would be a shame.
I could not care less if Chip is paid money for each video or any other way makes money from his steaming. None of my damn business!
A couple of years ago he made it quite clear about his ambition to make a living by streaming his gambling videos and he’s gone on to do just that, so fair play to him.
At the end of the day he lives or dies by pulling in and keep on entertaining enough people for his channel to a success and so far he’s doing just that.
He always mentions the links for GamStop and tells viewers to gamble responsibly and not to try high stakes, so if anyone falls into a gambling problem it is their fault, not Chips, just as it was my fault and not the bookies when I had my problems.
The only really 100% “clean” gamblers who post videos online are those who post their bookies and arcade vids to entertain people at home and not interested in making money from them – buddylove just loves playing slots and 7 neighbours is doing a good job these days with his vids.
1I think Chipmonkz gets the balance right between low, medium and high stakes. Most importantly tho he sets a limit on the amount he’ll spend on the higher stakes and pretty much sticks to it. While it’s exciting to see Bandit win a huge amount on high stakes or be down a shedload, chase his losses and win it all back, i still feel those long high stake sessions are too dangerous and potentially damaging to sustain year after year.
Had a stinker in Ladbrokes last week. Lost 500 playing low stakes on Bigfoot and Eye Of Horus. Waited 4 hours for first bonus which paid 60p and biggest win that day was 6 quid.
Just seen the Bandits tweet where he’s said he’s already had enough of the current format, adding it’s back to the drawing board. Imho its already pretty clear what works best for him so just go back to what he did best – Good old Sunday Slots with the occassional or even regular midweek one. The Spinal Tap video from a couple of years ago remains one of your best ever videos and proves you can produce great videos on lower stakes. £2-5 stakes really are high enough for most of us to enjoy watching.
