Yep Stevie, my comment regarding gamblers was inappropriate and probably influenced by the ones I have personally met – apologies for that, I have certainly seen evidence of good behaviours in this community.
I now understand the tactics of the casino, I guess people are used to their tactics, they certainly seem to have a lot of small print if the stories I have read are anything to go by (another reason I don’t do online)
I still stand by my view that once you lose you lose and shouldn’t look for someone else to blame

As a pointer if you watch Craig’s slots latest Video (I just finished it) Spoilers ahead lol… He went to withdraw his £1,000 at the end, then forgot that he had not fully registered on the site, to me & others this old routine by the casinos holding your cash when they were OK with taking it in is utter B.S. And is our main hate, as this causes all kinds of angles for the casino… If you’re good for a deposit then you’re good for a withdrawal plain and simple, also the UK. GOV agrees wholeheartedly here… ??????
If there is even a remote chance of getting your deposits back I’d say go for it. You have nothing to lose. Who cares where you were irresponsible or if you had won. Fact is that’s in the past. If they are in the wrong as blacko has said he enquired successfully so it’s worth pursuing.
Have to disagree here, and this is indicative of why you should rarely trust a gambler. i have seen endless stories on here of individuals who took out Payday Loans to gamble, lost and then blamed the nasty people for lending them money they cant afford. Then we have the gamblers who have lost and complain that they shouldn’t have been allowed to gamble so they want their money back. I come from an earlier era where if you borrow money you pay it back, and if you gamble and lose then you accept that fact with equinamity. I personally hope he is unsuccessful, and that’s not aimed at him personally, merely based on my view that he knew what he was doing when he deposited. Its a gambling site, not a daddy day care centre where someone is required to watch over you to make sure you don’t do something you shouldn’t.
What? Are you saying that Payday Loan companies are not scum of the earth and they should not all die in a greese fire? Because (I have never had a payday loan personally) I believe these unscrupulous lenders should all be held accountable and receive jail time. But hey you keep sticking up for the 0.1% in this world buddy.
Woah, hang on I’m not sticking up for the PayDay Loan companies, I completely agree you with that they are scum of the earth, I also am not sticking up for the Casino’s. What I am advocating is personal responsibility, as no one sticks a gun to your head and says borrow this money or I will shoot you, or gamble on this site or your family pet gets it. I am merely stating that if you borrow the money, or make the gamble, you actually take the pain like a grown up and don’t try to avoid the consequences of your actions by crying and saying that “bad men MADE me do it”
If your next door neighbour comes to you and says lend me a grand as I need my car fixing, and then later states that he’s not going to give you the money back as you should have known that he couldn’t afford it, whose fault was it, his for borrowing the money, or yours for lending it to him when you knew there was the possibility he wouldn’t pay it back
Cool… You said that People go to payday loan companies for money then complain once they lose it… Which in my book is fair enough, because 1 is pulling a fast 1 and so is the other… Let the courts decide after that, and the courts decided to back up the Person/individual Not the Company for once…. So I construed your meaning as sticking up for obvious illegal activities.
When people take obvious illegal business dealing for a ride that’s on the company for lending out there money as a fucking business… On the other hand doing your neighbour a favour to help him obviously Feed himself and family if he has some and get to work etc, giving him an ability to earn money then that’s not a business decision nor is it Illegal… So yeah the neighbour deserves all the hurt coming to him for not requesting more time or a payment plan and should expect some hurt in return… Do you see the difference here? Me thinks not.
Where’s the personal responsibility for this neighbour?
If you go online at Gearbest. Com you’ll get a Huawei phone for around £110/£150… Or the latest phones for around £2/300 that’s what Id do rather than stick to overpriced Samsung or I phones
Only problem with that aside from the hassle of long delay deliveries, stoppage and charges at customs for anything valued over 30 odd quid is the returns on faults make it impossible and a complete waste of money. Best advice is to find a uk vendor who does the importing and covers that cost, which you still pay pretty much but without the time frame and returns are viable. eBay is somewhat full of 98-100% rated sellers. Amazon has them too.
This is my current phone which literally cost me £4 when i sold my Maze Alpha after buying this second hand with one crack in the back case.
Elephone S8 – 10 core 4GB Ram – 64GB Rom 21MP camera. I paid £165 for the maze alpha and sold it for £100. This is way better. Granted, it has some minor issues but I’m not david bailey the same as 95% £1000 phone users and it second hand with a crack in the back, it certain is a goldmine at 10% of the cost. Originally £240 ish, from a UK vendor.
I’m not to sure about these issues you speak of Bud, but I’ve returned 2 tablets, got replacements within the 6 weeks and never paid more than the price that was advertised…. The issue with Gearbest is that you need to register, I’ve had more hassle returning goods to UK shops than these boys tbh. I’m not denying that these issues exist but I’ve never experienced them….. Can you post any negative reviews from gear best for me because me and my brother use them frequently ????
