I busted a few deposits last week thinking to myself “This is ridiculous, I never get this little back from the base” on several slots.
I genuinely feel fucking scammed. Randomly changing the RTP to increase the house edge by over 100% without giving fair notice to punters? What the actual fuck? If I had the money I’d get a solicitor to look into the legality of this. I wouldn’t be surprised if somebody does and we see a class-action lawsuit at some point.
If they added a 38th slot on the roulette wheel which is just a hole where the ball just drops through onto the floor and all bets lose, surely there would be public outrage. Surely the gambling commission would step in and say “Nah mate, you can’t do that.” …. So why is this allowed? The increase in house edge is EVEN HIGHER than the scenario I just mentioned.
I really hope Bandit stops promoting their site but I’d imagine most of his affiliate revenue comes from there so can’t really blame the guy.
Additionally, I love Rocknrolla but the guy clearly has a massive gambling problem. He’s not taking a break by choice, he’s gone broke.
21In regards to StopAndStep – I genuinely believe that this guy has a learning disability. He’s just a bit slow, isn’t he?
Not only does he demonstrate little to no idea HOW the slots he plays every single day actually work, he fails to monetize the popularity of his channel. It just doesn’t make sense. The main reason the big slots streamers/youtubers are able to sustain regular play at the stakes they play is through affiliate marketing. StopAndStep doesn’t really do this. (Well, he does, he fumbles around trying to figure out how the slots work on that one site that nobody has ever heard of…)
“Hi guys, today I’m going to do 10 bonus buys on 10 different slots. I’ve put £1,000 on this dodgy site you’ve never heard of.” [Proceeds to buy 10 bonuses on 10 different slots with no idea how most of the bonuses work.]
1Gather up as much cash as you can from your place of work
Drive to the nearest casino
Plow the lot on red or black
Replace the money if you win
Just kidding, but seriously, I’ve been there. That’s genuinely the thought process I juggle around in my head until sense kicks back in. Just have to talk yourself out of it and move forward 1 day at a time without further ruining your life. GL
But more importantly, how much did you bet on Liverpool last night? 😛
1Wow Bucky, that sucks. I might give them a call instead of emailing tomorrow.
It’s been over 2 weeks now. What pisses me off is that it’s something that can be verified in 5 minutes. Meanwhile, UK players participating in slots battles are being blatantly ripped off. (It may only be 1-2% per transaction, but that adds up very quickly. Imagine 1p disappearing into the ether every time you spin a slot…)
1I remember mate cos I said about the USD on poker stars been different deposting to withdrawing . Sorry to say I don’t think your complaint is going anywhere.
Yeah I recall that. This is a bit different though because that rate only applies to deposits/withdrawals. It’s also explained in the fine print of their T&Cs.
The exchange rate used for buying into tourneys/cash games is the exact same rate used to pay you out when you’re done. Which, unless stated otherwise, should be the same over at Videoslots. Otherwise, it’s just straight up theft.
Also, the lobby itself displays the correct payout on Videoslots. (i.e, the example I used and screenshot I sent them clearly said £615 for 1st and I was paid £609.)
I’d be down for something like this if given enough notice.
If anybody from Stoke fancies going, give us a shout!
At the end of the day, you’re providing a service (entertainment). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with monetising that service through affiliation.
Degens are going to do their bollox regardless of the location, be it in the bookies, online, or online at a site they joined via your link.
There seems to be a lot of jealousy floating around, as though they’re kicking themselves for not having the same idea a couple of years ago.
Looks like it’s got potential. Surprised it took this long for a Book of Ra style megaways game to pop up. (Actually, there was one, Book of somethingorother by BTG but it was crap iirc…)
@sidders – When a battle starts, one player who pre-registered is given the joker bonus. If they go on to win they get their prize doubled. It actually makes some of the 50 and 100 euro battles super profitable as only 1-3 people pre-reg. Also if you pre-reg and get a big score it puts people off late-reging.
That 100 euro one I used as an example only ended up with 6 players for the 1000 gt’d prize pool. Worth keeping an eye on.
It sucks but due to potential angle-shooting, I can see why casinos won’t budge on this.
We’d all be missclicking a max bet spin every session!
I’ve been with Grosvenor for years and I can confirm that they never send out promotional emails. Once or twice a year they’ll call me to inform me of some sort of offer (which is usually good – last month I had a £50 free bet, just needed to place a bet of £10 at 1.5 or higher to unlock it).
Bandit, I assume you’ve figured the points situation out by now but they all go on together at the end of the day. They also link up with your physical card so points accumulated at the physical casino will go onto your balance and vice versa.
