    So  I closed my account.  Then my documents were approved.  Then took further week to get money sent to me (I had to ask chat to put through manual withdrawal as could no longer get into account as had closed it).  So they paid out in the end but god knows how long this would have taken if my documents weren’t verified.  As it is, the process took just a couple of days under a month.  I won’t be playing here again.

    They definitely hold withdrawals until documents are verified but do allow you to deposit and play.  I think that is disgusting behaviour frankly.

    At least I have my money now but am left trying to find a good casino that isn’t going to behave this way (sigh).

    They didn’t have NZ dollars when I signed up in 2017, so I signed up with Euros as my preferred currency.

    Same happening to me right now.  It took 3 weeks to get SOW documents verified (and I’m not even a UK customer but from New Zealand).  I asked for my account to be closed and my funds withdrawn before this was completed as expected it to take even longer based on the info. from various forums.  Now it’s verified but they still haven’t processed my withdrawal – and it’s been over 3 days since I was fully verified.

    I notice they did not tell me that I couldn’t withdraw – but were happy for me to deposit and play (leading to withdrawal being held ransom).  I find this disgusting.

    All up three main things were really wrong from my point of view:

    1) Time document verification takes – this is already excessively intrusive – the information they want is overboard in my opinion and the regulators should never expect the level of information gathered that is requested.

    2) Communication was appalling – same message “please be patient”, “we can’t give indication on when this might be processed”.  Support can do nothing and again VS doesn’t seem to care about customers waiting weeks for this to be done.

    3) delays in withdrawal that at any other time can be done within minutes or 24 hours at most – all of a sudden “can take a few days” according to support.  I’ve had manual withdrawals before due to being over 5000 euros and they never took more than a day so this is rubbish.

    I have closed my account after playing here since 2017.  I don’t know why Bandit still promotes these people as they are simply ghastly now and it’s not just to UK players anymore.  Customer care and service is clearly an issue and their systems are terrible.  I would never recommend this site anymore unless the player was very very small fry (small deposits never getting over a threshold), and had extremely uncomplicated financial dealings (i.e., one job, one bank account) and even then I would warn them about delayed withdrawals.

    Oh I also had withdrawals go missing for weeks during 2021 due to their payment processor worldpay (apparently).  VS were slow on that one too with it usually taking at least 4 weeks to find my money.  This happened three times last year.

    No offense Bandit, but I really hope VS and Mr Vegas lose so many customers that they find alternative licensing bodies or go out of business.  They certainly don’t deserve my money anymore.  They used to be great – sigh.

    I’ve had this problem several times throughout 2021 and withdraw to my debit card now (visa transfer).  It happened to me three times and they gave me the same responses as you “these things happen”.  Only when I checked trust pilot and other forums – these things were happening to lots of people.  Despite what they say about investigating it – they never do and never change processors (i.e., worldpay) despite ongoing issues.  I figure they’ve chosen the cheapest option (re: processor) and you get what you pay for – and they don’t care.  This is just one of the issues I’ve had with VS over the past year that has led me to closing my account.

    It will keep happening and take weeks to sort out.  You will have to find an alternative withdrawal method sorry.  Good luck.
