I’ve played there before and maybe have a deposit there once a month, never had a problem but was nervous like yourself after reading the reviews and hitting a decent win. Got the Hot Mode on Happy Holidays and then hit the jackpot line on Six Acrobats after a £25 deposit with a 100% bonus, which needless to say this meant I easily beat wagering but had no problems withdrawing £3k through PayPal, can’t even remember ever going through verification before I hit this but most have. Paid out in under 24 hours.
The bonuses are like Casumo 50/50 split, so can always withdraw something if you win, which is nice, but game choices are fairly limited, used to be almost exclusively Microgaming but many more are appearing now so its getting more appealing.
If you wanna see what its really like I did a Bandit Lil Devil style build on 20p, 40p, 60p, 80p & £1.
I’ve completed the ladder 13 times, and it is mostly shit, (still more reliable than Lil Devil heartstopper where I always seem to get less than 10x)
Nearly all were around the 100x mark but normally cost upwards of 400x to build, 2500 spins and 3-4 hours. Had 1040x recently and 340x on another one.
I always say ‘never again’ then get sucked in after getting a little way up the ladder using bonus money then thinking ‘screw it lets finish it off’.
I can see why they banned them, especially the more dangerous ones like Extra Chill, but I find myself losing more money now on games like Sweet Bonanza where all I want to see is one bonus, regardless of the win, but now find myself playing through 200 times stake and think I could’ve bought 2 for this, it’s quite annoying.
And yes some people are idiots and did themselves in with them but surely there has to be some accountability for the individual. And you’re right about some games that quick spin, Napoleon can waste money quicker than any bonus buy.
I had the £2k limit implemented yesterday as well, probaly just changing a few things in line with credit card deposit also being stopped yesterday.
I’ve built it many times at both Casumo and Casino Calzone using/when in bonus money and never had a withdrawal rejected. And it doesn’t appear in their banned wagering list in T&C’s so looks they have no comeback. Also Casumo operates the 50/50 bonus system so technically he is at least using his own money for half of the build.
His play will be scrutinised more as a new player so maybe that’ll flag something, my withdrawals (at least with Calzone) are processed within 30 minutes so guess they don’t check my gameplay too much.
It is strange that any of the grinding games are allowed with bonus money, as technically it is bonus abuse, but as they often pay crap I guess the casinos are not worried. Strange how very few (DOA2 aside) newer games end up as excluded from wagering, is it because the wagering terms (over 50x and only start once in bonus funds) are generally so extreme these days and mostly unachievable without a lucky big hit. Ooh for the good old days of 200% bonus matches with 25x wagering on just the bonuses, though those days the whole balance was locked.
Yeah I’ve heard that, think we’ve discussed it before, I read hot mode was every 172 bonuses on average (don’t know where I read it and can’t find the link) and DOA is every 151.
It seems to add up (even if the sample size is small) I had 3 on Happy Holidays by 393 bonuses. So four across both games for 619 (647 if you count the HH ones I’ve had since) bonuses. Or maybe I’ve just been very lucky.

1I built-up the heartstopper feature earlier, seems like a decent game, though was a little disappointed with the end result (don’t like saying the word but that had ‘Potential’). Skip to 17 minutes if you don’t want to see the 7 bonuses building it up.
Seems as kind on the balance as Bonanza (unless I got lucky), will try again on a bigger stake.
Please don’t judge the editing, I have no skills and free software ?.
I’ve only ever had SoW questionaries from he MT Secure sites, (I must be really trustworthy ?) I’ve been honest every time, I wouldn’t mind submitting wages slips and bank statements, but any queries about specific transactions would be a no go (got nothing to hide, but that is too invasive and beyond my effort level, there are plenty of other legitimate casinos) I recently had the ID verification holding up Driving Licence to face and have to say this almost made me quit.
It felt like I was being played for a fool by the automated software, move closer, place your head in this egg-shaped box, move back, don’t blink, smile more etc. After 10 minutes of my potato head not being recognised as a likeness for my ID photo through a Web Cam I thankfully contacted Live support who simply uploaded my Selfie, a human looked at it and it was verified within 10 minutes.
If automation and machine learning is the way forward, its not quite ready for casino verification, even if it works at airports.
My experience is completely different, although I agree cannot see how this isn’t bonus buys.
I did 6 or so £10 bonus buys to try it out and nearly all were profit, one was 854x. Since deposited £40 twice for a single buy and had 442x and 582x both of which I immediately withdrew.
I was quite surprised at the mystery choice cos its been kind to me everytime (no 5 x1), clearly I’ve been very lucky.
So I have another question relating to RTP (I know I’m obsessed) but on games where the player can gamble the bonus. After losing yet another gamble at 83% on WWTBAM from 8 spins and getting no bonus, I thought to check with SlotTracker my RTP. And also checked the community RTP. Both are way lower than the expected which I put down to people gambling their bonus or spins. (RTP on SlotTracker is total money in vs out over time regardless of stake. SRP is based on a spin by spin basis so the more accurate measure here.) So 79.99% in 10,501 spins and 72.71% in 345,644 spins.
So I thought which other games can you also gamble the bonus, so checked extra chilli and Red Tigers Mystery Reels. As I’ve not played much on either I’ve only included the Community Total spins. So the difference here isn’t too bad and Mystery Reels is a bit of anomaly as Casinos can set different RTP’s, though it is set to 98% on Good Sites (remember reading somewhere 98% RTP on this game is only achievable if always gambling to 30 spins as best strategy) and also 41,395 is a very small sample size.
So I’ll finally get to my point!
Am I correct in assuming these games have lower than expected RTP due to people gambling and losing? is this the provider’s fault, gamblers are always gonna be greedy? And how do the providers reconcile the machine not hitting RTP? (assuming what I heard is true, that if a game is significantly off after a certain amount of spins it has to be reported and re-checked).
Can anyone think of other games where the bonus is gambled so I can check my theory further? Only Wolf Legend comes to mind and that goes against what I suspected.
Hope I didn’t waffle too much.
Does this also mean if I played for thousands of spins (ala Bonanza) without the bonus would I be getting a horrendous 71.9%?Theoretically, yes. But realistically, no. You could be anywhere from 10% to 10,000% in that small sample size. The average of billions of spins would result in very close to 71.9% without the bonus landing.
I’ve never seen the RTP displayed in this way – I like it! Shows you how much potential they have reserved for the bonus itself.
I know it’s never gonna happen but would be nice if all games were displayed like this. Maybe the UKGC could force on this on providers and casinos instead of other crazy rulings that are forcing casinos out of the UK market.
In the 18 bonuses, I’ve had so far all retriggers (17 of the bonuses) have landed on 4 or 5x. And always hit 12 or 14 spins to start with as well.
Looks good if you can hit retrigger on the last spin as it applies to the whole win. Hitting a blue number then would be worthwhile but bet its always 2x.
My best win so far is 197x, pretty poor and its often gone 800+ spins to get 30x.
El Dorado Infinity Spins is also predetermined, I always grind for the saved top bonus but noticed my balance update in the second window I Had open, this was on Casumo who are normally good for not updating the balance till the bonus is complete, even on Red Tiger and Blueprint games.
Kinda depressing, makes the bonus way less interesting but will teach me not to look at the second window when playing two games at the same time.
