Cracking run Green, great to see someone having such a good run on small stakes and enjoy reading your posts when they come up.

Just a suggestion that would be great to see would be a running profit total for your current streak at the end of each post update I.e money in for session £xxxx withdrawn £xxxxx total profit since thread started £xxxx (a bit like how Bandit would do it on the Reel King thread a while back if you know what I mean).

Keep it it up mate, hope the run never ends ?

I know this post will inevitably result in you saying that people don’t get “the issue” or the “subject matter” but from a purely objective point of view you state as follows.

the CS rep should have escalated the issue if they were unable to resolve it.

The problem, however, is an issue wasn’t actually raised. It was a straight forward conversation. In summary:

player: I quit your casino because I never win on your slots

CS: were regulated, our slots are the same as every other site in line with UKGC regulation

player: I know a gambler that killed themselvs, and it’s the fault of your site

player: at this point bombards further pointless facts and comments about gambling suicide. Expecting the CS to respond, take an interest or escalate his comments having begun the conversation by stating he’s not even a customer of this casino.

It is quite literally the same as me walking into a weatherspoons, finding a barmaid and telling them that their beer gets me drunker than other pubs beer so I won’t be drinking there anymore. Then still standing at the bar (not buying a drink) and ranting at them about alcoholic related illness and suicide attempts. If that was enough I now expect her to escalate my rant to management.

So, in light of this analogy, my conclusion I’m afraid is that this entire thread is a meaningless exercise with no concise argument or coherent point being made. Go ahead and say “I don’t get it” but in my opinion I actually think it’s you that doesn’t get it.

I don’t think there is much point continuing this one Haz, were all a bit lost at the point of it.

Mr B, you state it’s a simple issue to understand, and you’re right – everyone here understands the issue about the effects gambling has on people and what it can lead to.

The reason the debate has gone off track is because of the way you presented the issue via a log of a live chat with a rep. In all honesty how on earth did you expect them to reply ? What outcome did you hope to achieve ? I personally don’t think you had any goal in mind, probably just on the back a losing session and went on live chat to kick off.

Dont think there’s anything more anyone can say in this thread now.

I see some posts on here that I don’t understand why someone has bothered to post, but this tops them all.

Every reply has been completely accurate and, quite frankly, this post is just incoherent drivel. Could have been said by a politician!

If you word an appropriate response the most they will do is close your account. Never in a million years will they actually pursue it.

Not worth the bad publicity, the risk of them being in breach of anything etc – they will probably write it off as a gesture of goodwill if you reoly

wjth something along the lines of.

i didn’t realise there had been an error. I withdrew my winnings and spent them on priority bills. You asking me to return the money is effectively like you let me place a bet on credit and now ask for the funds to be returned, this would cause me financial hardship.

Please let me know I can escalate this further.

I would be astounded if they Didn’t just write it off and close the account – upto you as to how much you want your pp account but let us know the eventual outcome!

My view (as a lawyer) is they can’t pursue it. They could have reversed it in your PP account if the funds were there but otherwise they are stuck.

If they now take “legal action” against you to recover the money the true position needs to be analysed which is – you placed a bet with funds you didn’t have. This world amount to a credit agreement between you and paddy power and therefore no permissible and against the law on their part.

Tbey would therefore never pursue, simply put your account back to £0 via a good will or account adjustment measure on their accounts and let it go.

Nice win pal and yes shame amount the tri cast being an afterthought!

On a side (but relevant) note, has anyone ever actually opened extra chilli and spun the reels ? I know I won’t even go to the game if I can’t afford the bonus – I will then spin of any remaining balance but would never start actually spinning.

I saw bandit play it normally once and thought, I bet very few people actually play the game it’s all just about the bonus buys – absolute money maker for the casinos!

I’ve heard of it Haz and had a go once or twice. The general idea is you’re backing sports at regular odds but a small portion of your bet is taken to fund the bonus structure (a bit like a progressive).

Lets say you back a 10/1 odds sport bet by £10. You actually only get £9 on it as they take 10% but that £1 goes into a pot. Then every now and again when you place your bet, it will suddenly boost your odds from 10/1 to anything up to say 100/1 (not sure how high it can go). You’ve now got your £9 on a 10/1 shot paying 100/1 if it lands.

Pokerstars do something similar called “spin and bet” which is the exact same principle.

can be exciting to get bigger odds, but then your bet still has to win so in all honesty it’s not for me as I feel like I’m just losing a portion of my stake each bet and even when I get boosted that particular bet might not win.

that said it’s a legitimate site, and not had issues playing/cashing out etc just not for me.
