Nobody’s asking them to send personal info. It’s up to them if they want to or not.

Right, so someone who works in the industry has some software/website whatever it is, and it proved without a shadow of a doubt that Chip is real ? Things really are starting to unravel.

 

There’s only so much someone can do, there’s only so much verification can do. Certain people will always move the goalposts if you throw some proof.

The whole point of the verification is to prove that the money used on the stream came from the streamers bank account.

If people choose to start questioning other things that’s different, but people asked for proof that a streamer is using real money and boom there it is. Verified by a trusted industry person who knows what they are looking at.

I tend to find that with this kind of thing the problem is the people against it, not the people going for it.

The takedowns mentioned aren’t a recent thing though, they were a couple of years ago. That Reddit post is 2021, things have changed and that’s why people aren’t getting the same kind of takedowns. It’s usually music copyright strikes now.
